Seribu Rasa Plaza Indonesia — Restaurant in Jakarta

Actually, we have already do the reservation for dinner at Seribu Rasa Menteng, but when we came there, it was so hard to find the parkir. Therefore, we came to their nearest branch at Plaza Indonesia. This branch has smaller space, but it is quite comfortable. They also provide private room.

Seribu Rasa is a fine dining restaurant that serves Indonesian, Chinese, and Peranakan food, but mostly is Indonesian. Here are what we tried :

Seafood Cakwe (IDR 67,000) I saw many Foodies recommended this menu, so that I tried this one. And yeah, this menu is recommended! Crispy cakwe filled with shrimp and squid along with the sweet and sour sauce, sprinkled with white sesame.

Chicken Satay (IDR 72,000) Five stick of chicken satay served with peanut sauce, sweet soy sauce, and pickle. The chicken is tender, and the peanut sauce is not spicy. Tastes good!

Oyster Omelette (IDR 79,000) Again, the recommended menu here. Oyster and spring onion omelette served with the sweet sauce. The oyster is quite big and fresh. Love it! 😋

to someone who may get lost finding this place, this restaurant is placed on L4 near an escalator.

I ordered a labuan colada + mallacan nasi lemak mallacan nasi leak: the taste is good, however in my case the nasi uduk is said by the waiter thay the quality is bad so she offered me whether I want to seal it with original rice or not, but I opted for original rice. beef rendang beef is very soft and easy to bite but still maintain the texture of the beef. the prawn also taste excellent, because the texture is kinda soft but bouncy means the prawn is fresh. overall the taste I perfect, but - the nasi uduk. labuan colada: so this beverages consist of orange, coconut, and bananas. the combination is perfect, each of the component synergies each other and give an utterly new experience to me. however this drink is taste a little bit heavy, it's not thay fresh because of the bananas and coconut isn't designed for fresh taste at the first.

Every dish we tried brought out the authentic taste of Indonesia, with rich spices and well-balanced flavors. The mango salad was a refreshing start – tangy, sweet, and light. We also enjoyed the kangkung goreng which was crispy and full of wok aroma, the golden prawn butter Siam style that was rich, creamy, and flavorful, and the ayam goreng kampung – crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Everything tasted delicious and satisfying.
