Completely disappointed . I had to agree that around 3-4 years ago when the first Mevui that opened in Legian, I and the mrs visited almost everyday during our Bali trip. The food and customer service were beyond the excellence. This time, the missus kept telling me that she wanted to have Mevui again badly. We visited the Discovery Mall Mevui at 10am according to the Google suggestion, shop wasn’t open yet, i asked what time the restaurant will be ready for dine in. The staff told me to come back by 11am. So we went shopping and came back around 11.15am. Staff members were not happy ( probably because we kept coming back and forth) and told us be back by 12pm. To honest, if it wasn’t because my partner fell in love with this restaurant since 2022 i would not have that much of patience. The menu was cut short, we tried to order the Platter, was told it was not ready, i ordered Chao Tom, was also unavailable. Eventually, i had a chance to order a Hanoi Pho, which disappointedly came with a very little slice beef, the broth tasted like the instant noodle seasoning. The staff had no sense of urgency as she strolling around the restaurant ignoring bunch of people that waiting to be served. We paid more than values of the food.

Today, My partner said that she wanted to try it again at Ubud and hoped so much that it might be better than in Kuta. After a long queue, we ordered the Platter, Bun Bo Hue, Com Suon, Bun Cha and some drinks. Bun Bo Hue tastes and looks nothing near Bun Bo Hue ( its like some unknown salted Beef Noodles) , Chao Tom in the Platter was overcooked from the outside but inside was very sticky , rotten and flaccid ( looked like it was rushing defrosted and overflaming), Com Suon had undercooked and unevencooked rice ( tấm bị sống và nhão) . Bun Cha came with a kid meal vermicelli. Once food has arrived, i had to run around to ask for lemon and other vegies that supposed to be brought. This restaurant looks like a self served, just the difference is you still have to pay for extra %5 service fee regardless.

Thanks God, at least the Coke tastes just as good as other Coke. I am disappointed for the degrading of their food quality but very happy that my missus would never like to be back here ever again.

Also their WhatApps isnt significantly responsive, never answered the calls and no call back in return.

For owner, im glad that you could successfully bring our food culture overseas to share with others, but if you cant control the quality of your food, please dont make our food look bad in foreigners eyes. Your quality of food is...

After 1 year I move from Sanur to Ubud, I just know there is a Me Vui in Ubud after checking by Gojek. Firstly I would to order food by Gojek but I change my mind and decide to go directly to the restaurant with my friend. Its about 5 minute from my home we are arrive at the retaurant. I dont understand, maybe they are not into local ( I am balinese ) When I arrive theres also some Bule arrive at the restaurant. There are some staff stand in front of the kitchen, one of them come to the front line and grab the Bule and escort them to the table but not to Us. Until we go inside by our self and there are some staff standing in front of the kitchen and asking where we want so seat. I said I will seat upstair, then they are keep talking or gosiping and laughing with their collage without escort us to the Table. After arrive upstairs, 1 waiter come and bring the menu without saying anything. After about 5 minute we are ready to order. First I order Pho Sg Medium and Kids Pho but after thinking we change the order to Pho Sg Special and Bm Pork Ham Regular (we cancel the Kids Pho) akd for the drink Jungle boost and mineral water. About ten minute The food arrive but not acourding to the order. They bring Pho Sg Special and Pho Kids. I said to the staff, we already cancel the Phonkids and change to Bm Pork Ham regular. The staff laughing and call the waiter who take the order and he also laughing and saying that we not cancel that food… they stand in front of us and staring us like we are a stupid people. And I said, just put it on my table and I will pay it. Without saying anything they are go….. TBH i am really disapointed with the experience to this restaurant. Really different in Sanur, the staff very helpfull and full of smile even to local people.. The food was so good but beside the food the service is very important to bcs we are paying the Service charge same as Bule. I PROMISE, will...

A Real Culinary Adventure If You Enjoy Watching Staff Eat Leftovers Like It’s a Buffet

Ah yes, nothing enhances the delicate flavors of a warm bowl of pho quite like witnessing your waiter casually helping himself to someone else’s leftover food right in front of paying customers. Talk about authentic street food vibes, except this street happens to be the dining area.

I ordered the Pho Ha Noi (medium), and honestly, the food was decent. A bit salty, but palatable until the real “main course” showed up: the floor show. Midway through my meal, I was treated to the kind of behind-the-scenes access no diner ever asked for. One of the staff, presumably a waiter, decided to stand right in my line of sight and devour what looked like a half-eaten plate from another table. Bon appétit?

Disgusted, I reported this to the cashier (a woman), hoping for a manager or at least a shred of professionalism. Instead, I got the Balinese version of “meh”: a dismissive “ok ok ok” with all the urgency of a sleepy cat. No apology, no action, just vibes.

To the owner: if you're reading this and still wondering why business might be slow, here’s a hint people come to restaurants to eat food, not to watch your staff snack on leftovers like it's a staff party. If you're proud of your kitchen, maybe start by feeding your team in private. Or better yet, feed them with dignity.

Five stars for the noodles. Minus several galaxies for hygiene and...

In a symphony of flavors that reverberate throughout the vibrant isle of Bali, another culinary beacon has illuminated the gastronomic landscape, effortlessly weaving into the rich tapestry of MeVui establishments that dot the paradise island. Ah, the MeVui experience, a dazzling parade of zest and zestiness, has once again expanded its horizon, unfurling its grandeur in its freshly inaugurated 8th branch, a testament to its growing legacy. Can we talk about the pièce de resistance, the Pho Xao, for just a moment? Picture this: a plate generously heaped with stir-fried noodles, every strand encapsulating the very essence of Vietnamese culinary traditions, now arguably elevated to an art form in its own right. It's not just food. It's a poetic language, a narrative spun from the hands of artisans who possess an intimate understanding of the complex choreography that is involved in achieving that perfect balance of flavors and textures. The tapestry that is this MeVui dish unfolds gently on the palate, a masterpiece that has, I dare say, secured a prized spot in my ever-evolving list of favored MeVui offerings. The intoxicating aroma, the nuanced symphony of flavors beckoning you to immerse yourself in an exquisite culinary journey, one that seems to redefine itself with every mouthful, offering an odyssey of gustatory delights that beckon one to explore deeper, to savor more fervently. Basicly, I LOVE IT!

I like to go here because I like soupy meals and not too many options in Ubud. When I went to their Legian/Denpasar outlets they will allow me to change the meatball in the Pho with meat as long as the calculation is by grams. Their Ubud staff refused to do this. So I feel it's inconsistent service. On my visits I always order infused tea (pandan) - when I visited them on Tuesday this was at least my 6th visit, and I tasted their infused tea was a bit odd, I asked my friend to taste (she confirmed it was a bit stale) and the staff to taste, but he insisted its maybe the ginger, rather than offer to change to a fresher one. So not a good service. Meat seems to get lesser everytime I come. It's noticeable. hope they can be fair on this part. Taste is good and original Vietnamese but definitely need to improve service and consistency
