I was there with work for a dinner event. We got the menu the day before. It looked incredible. I was a happy boy. I had picked already what I was going to order. When we got to the venue, we found out the menus was different. 2 of my favourite things that I was going to order were not on the menu. Reason given was that Lamb is too expensive this time of the year. Surly they knew this the day before. No reason for other changes. All they said it's that we were given a sample menu. I must say I was very disappointed. I would understand if we got the menu 1 week or more before but not a day.

service was very good. Fast, well presented and very welcoming. Staff were on the spot.

the food I ended up ordering was nice. Well made and we'll presented. The portions were nice. Not big but not small.

the environment was warm, welcoming and enough space. They could look at a little up beat music.

Over all, I would go again but I would not trust the menu I am shown...

I arrived last week a little early for a lunch date - and then got a text advising me they were running very late but they would be there ! The staff where lovely I enjoyed a glass of wine and a bottle of water I ordered the soup while I was waiting , it was a delicious homemade mushroom soup with warm lightly toasted brown soda bread on the side - my intention was to have a main course when my lunch date arrived but it was so filling I knew I would not be able to eat a main so I opted for dessert! How could you resist a crème brûlée it was absolutely decadent! I was very surprised by the reasonably priced food offerings and when my lunch date eventually arrived as I finished dessert he ordered a mains of the chicken fillet burger it was one of the best he’s enjoyed and he’s tried a lot ! We will definitely be back hopefully at the same time next time ! But again thank you for making me feel so welcome and allowing me to dally for a very...

Date night, so we started with a Negroni, delish. Next, they ran out of vegan arancini, they offered me a green salad for starter 0.0 the foodie in me died a little. For my mains I ordered a risotto, because it's the only thing on the menu they can offer without animal products. It was really good I must say, with fried Shiitake mushrooms on top. No vegan desserts. All in all, menu is underwhelming for a veggie to say the least, and on the day they could not even offer what was listed, so it's a big no-no for me. The staff are excellent, one thing I would say is, my husband and I did notice one of them giving out to another in front of the clients, not something you want your guests to witness in a pricey restaurant. Atmosphere is great, Katie O'Flaherty on the piano was just magical, I'd go back just to hear her again,...

We had dinner there for New Year's Eve. We had a set menu with a few interesting options for each course. The place was full of customers, as one would expect. Despite that the service was always present and attentive. There was live music with a piano bar player who was good but played music that I found inappropriate for the occasion, especially considering that in the ticket there was included the entrance to a dancing party in the bar next door. The quality of the cocktail was very low. Too sweet. It seemed what you could drink at a party for teenagers. The savory courses were quite good. I found the presentation beautiful. The steak had a good taste but it was not at all cooked as per my request (medium rare). I appreciated the choice of serving many small desserts instead of a large one. They were all ok.

Hidden gem! We ordered the scallop appetizer, steak and risotto for mains, and for dessert creme brulee and passion fruit cheesecake. Everything was delicious and also beautiful! The risotto was perfect and creamy, and the steak was juicy and full of flavor. Impeccable service. Lovely, calm atmosphere. I asked for a drink recommendation and they made me a French Martini, which was wonderful. Absolutely recommended if you're in the area. Do yourself a favor and visit!
