I bought 2 amazing board games. I was really hopeful they would deliver them before Christmas. 4 days has passed since I bought it, and then today I received only one and a message this morning that they refunded the other one. It's such a shame that now no other store will deliver the other I wanted for Christmas in time. If there is no stock, don't make it available, or if the system wasn't updated, at least message straight away that it will be cancelled and refunded. Because you will give us a chance to buy somewhere else in time. Eire Hobbies and Zatu Games will be my go now.

This shop is like an awesome playground for big and little nerds. I always enjoy visiting and often think: I wish we had such toys when we were kids: especially the STEM ones are fantastic! They also have toys and games that help develop several other skills, such as literacy - and they are adjusted to different age ranges and skill levels. I always feel like a big happy kid when I visit them. :) And it's an Irish, family-run business. :) Highly recommended! :)

We just love Cogs. We discovered it 2 years ago and since then it has been present in all the stages of our now 4 years old kid. It has really enjoyable games that help us to teach new skills to our kid and also have a fun. My favorite game is katamino. Also the toys and games are not only educative but made in a sustainable way like the blue truck that you can see in the pictures made it from recycled plastic

Cogs Toys: A Gem for All Ages: Fun & Learning at Cogs the Brain Shop

"Finding toys that engage my kids (11 months, 4 years, and 8 years) can be a challenge, but Cogs the Brain Shop in Dublin city centre is a lifesaver! They have a fantastic selection of high-quality toys that are both fun and educational.

What truly sets them apart is the variety. Unlike mainstream shops, Cogs offers unique toys that spark creativity and challenge little minds. I found the perfect sensory toys for my youngest, engaging puzzles and games for my middle child, and even some strategic brain teasers that my eldest loved.

The staff was incredibly helpful, offering suggestions and letting the kids try out some of the toys. It made the shopping experience enjoyable for everyone.

And let's not forget their festive spirit! Their Christmas pop-up shop last year was a wonderland - beautifully decorated and brimming with unique gift ideas.

Overall, Cogs the Brain Shop is a fantastic place to find toys that entertain and nurture your children's development. I highly recommend...

Absolutely Amazing customer service, called in a panick yesterday ( 4 days before Christmas) and Conor, I'm assuming the owner/manager, couldn't have done more for me. The shop was out of Dominion (boardgame) and he literally got a delivery from the warehouse to the shop for me in under two hours. Called me back twice to keep me updated on proceedings too, which was greatly appreciated.

Aidan and the girl working in the shop were lovely to interact with. Both still able to have banter this far into the Christmas season, in a very busy shop, so hats off to them!

Want to mention too that there's actually loads in store for adults. Thought it would be a one off visit but I'll definitely be...

I absolutely love cogs. It has the broadest range of toys out there. From fidgets to board games, from brain games to story cubes and everything in between . I love how the website is divided up into age ranges and then if you’re ever in store, all the staff are clearly knowledgable but also obsessed with play and how brilliant it is. I think I overheard them having a games evening and thought that made loads of sense. Thats their research. Oh and if you buy something online and you’re anywhere nearby chances are you may even have it that day. Perfect for when the favourite squishy gets left behind or gets trapped under a random knee and bursts. Thanks Cogs,...
