D Two — Restaurant in Dublin

Came here for food. Food is good quality and the prices are very reasonable. The only thing letting this place down is the service. It is terrible. Waited 40 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Food followed shortly after. May have just been a one off but I can only rate it on how I find it. The bar staff are nice and friendly but even when I asked for the bill, we waited 20 minutes and still didn't get the bill. I approached the bar and after some initial confusion I pai d for the bill only to find I had been overcharged. It wasn't dealt with very well at all. They spent 5 minutes trying to figure out how to resolve it and offered me 50c which was should have been €5.40. I ended up just leaving.

I told a member of staff how unhappy I was and she did offer me a free pint, but they had no beer left to give as they had run out. The place wasn't very busy with 5 tables ordering food, so I can't even saytge delays were for good reason other than just forgetting about us.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! A group of foul smelling junkies were going around inside robbing jackets/bags. Woman pretended to be drunk and needed our help and robbed us secretly with her friends. Thankfully we realised what happened before they could get away and after calling the bouncer over and getting him to check the ID in purse he took our things off of them. HOWEVER, seems like an inside job and the bouncers are in on it! The group were let stay inside and bouncers brushed us off. One woman holding 10+ coats and looking around for more. Horrific bouncers and one even gave out to us saying that we got our bag back so stop complaining about them. Manager should look into the staff ASAP and needs stricter security. We were scared to leave as the group faced no consequences and looked very rough. None of us will ever be returning and we will be warning everyone we know. Blonde woman in the cloak room refused to give us our jacket when a mistake was made and we were given 1 ticket for 2 jackets. The woman with blonde hair kept on telling us she didn’t care and tried getting security, but security even made her go get the jacket because she was refusing, and when the jacket was there like we told her she continued to give out to us. Rudest member of staff I have ever encountered. We gave her all evidence that we owned a jacket and showed her the type of jacket but she kept teling us she didn’t care. I am never coming here again because of her. She should be sacked if not get a serious talking to at a minimum.
