Coffeeangel — Restaurant in Dublin

I'm not really one to write reviews but I feel compelled to do so after visiting Coffee Angel this morning. From the moment I stepped into the store I felt like a VIP and not just another customer, even though at the time the store was very busy. The three girls working there were rushed off their feet but even so they were still very attentive, smiling and making small talk which genuinely surprised me because in other coffee shops I'm lucky if they look up at me which is at least a basic requirement of good customer service!

I asked the girl who made my coffee what her name was only so I could highlight in my review how nice she was. She told me Iwona. Well thank you Iwona and the other two girls working in coffee angel this morning you made my day a little brighter. I will certainly be making a return visit and recommending you to others.

Popped in here on my way to Merrion Square for a quick coffee only to be met with potentially the happiest and bubbliest barista I have ever encountered! She expertly waltzed through my order of a latte and tempted me with a pastry to which I excitedly treated myself. They went as far as heating my almond croissant. My wife loves this place. I see it as "meh, another hipster coffee place".

Pros: Prices are average for hipster coffee shops competing with Starbucks Coffee is decent Service is good

Cons: I wasn't a huge fan of their coffee because it was 'fruity' and 'acidic'. This is just a personal choice of the type of espresso they served those particular times. Prices are similar to Starbucks (I prefer Starbucks to be honest).
