First and formost i want you to reply because I known you wont but to try and keep this short i entered this establishment today on the 28th of Sept 2018. At first it was the usual packed not much room to move but we found somewhere to dance and have abit if craic (craic means fun for any non irelanders if youre visting here) drinks are very expensive may I add. Anyway so im dancing away with pals and this lady jumps over a barrier knocking over my drink and two of my friends drinks. I approach this person and asked what was she doing as she didnt take an entrance but jumped over a railing. Our drinks were expensive so of course i asked her to pay us for the damage she caused in an angry maner and she began to tear up. Thats when i left as i wasnt looking to deal with that. About 5 minutes later after i leave the bar a bouncer approaches me for a chat and proceedes to walk me outside to go to coppers. I did nothing wrong. Everything i said happened and the matter of the fact is i was discriminated against because i was the big scary man questioning an ignoramous of a woman that spilled my drink completely and didnt have to own up to her actions becuase she shed a tear. If youre looking for a non crowded, fair pricing, non absusive staff experience i highly suggest you avoid this place.
P.S I never leave reviews but this place was ridiculous tonight, all they have in favour is its free in but by the time you pay for your 2nd drink itll be like youve payed in anywhere else anyway that was my experience in this late bar. This will probably be deleted as the staff know what theyve done but please be aware they dont care about you and theyll charge you crazy amounts for a drink avoid this place...
Read moreI wish I could tell you what the pub is like, but they wouldn't let us in and they wouldn't establish a reason. We were originally in Camden Bites, which was full, and they told us to enter Flannerys through the backdoor, that it was fine. Unfortunately, the barman saw us come through and instead of explaining to us (Tourists, we're not from Dublin) that we couldn't use that door, he said "That way" and pointed out the way we came. He repeated this action 6 times while we tried to apologize and explain what happened. We then entered the pub through the correct door, where we were greeted by a rude bouncer that asked us for ID (group of 7 lads over the age of 23, which is fine) and called one of us by the name of 'Romeo', to establish a false sense of power. As two of us entered, the same barman from before showed up and was immediately hostile, telling us to leave and that we weren't welcome, when we made an honest mistake from poor direction previously, and weren't trying to make trouble at the door.
I wouldn't recommend trying to enter this place if you're visiting Camden Street as it's clear they don't want any customers. You'll have a better...
Read moreBartender was super rude. I mentioned politely that someone skipped the queue at the bar but that it wouldn't matter anyway, so I did my order of drinks. Then the bartender, super rude, says "I decide who is first" and then ignores me, he doesn't catch my request and goes to another group of people who just arrived at the bar and takes their request. So another group of people skips me once again, and this time he did on purpose just to show power. What kind of working attitude is this? This bartender was at the beer garden, he has glasses and was wearing a blue mask. If the bosses or the staff can tell him something, thanks, appreciated. From a former usual...
