Small menu which I generally prefer, but when you literally do 2 things and they're both burgers, they'd best be outstanding.

Took about 40 minutes to actually come out after being ordered.

An indivdually wrapped burger accompanied by a small portion of chips made to look bigger by being served on a small baking tray.

The burger was so greasy it had exceeded the bun's capacity to absorb any more and instead it dripped down my clothes leaving me with grease stains reminiscent of urine stains on the front of my shorts.

The burger and the chips were bland. No flavour or any attempt at seasoning could be identified by taste. The only evidence that they had clearly used salt was the chips that were swimming in it but still somehow tasted of nothing.

When the waiter asked us if we wanted any sauce they didn't even hang around to wait for an answer.

They sat us at a table next to the toilets and anytime anyone walked past to take a piss they inexplicably managed to barge into me rather than walk down the wide corridor behind me that had no obstructions.

To quote my partner: 'I'd rather have eaten dog food.'

My rating is a 1/10. Disappointing in every conceivable way. It gets 1 because it has a caloric value. My partner rates it a -1/10 because a dog probably wouldn't touch it.

I will reiterate, if you have a menu with 2 items, and they're both burgers, they need to be exceptional. These were far from it.

An experience that was offensive to all 5 senses at a cost of €50, €10 per...

Service was a little awkward and confusing. We were sat at our table and asked if we had been here before, to which we replied no, it was our first time. We were explained about the menu and burger toppings, the fries and drinks options but that is all. A lot of places now tell you if you order online or if someone will come back over so we were left waiting a good 5 minutes to pick from the limited menu.. not sure if you need that long to decide.

Nonetheless, food took around 10 minutes to be sent over. We ordered two double cheese burgers cooked at medium along with one portion of hand cut fries.

Overall the food was 4/5 or 8/10. The burgers were tasty, well give them that for sure! The beef patties were cooked great! However the overall burger was difficult to hold/eat due to how soggy it had all become. Not sure if it was due to the oiliness, tomatoes or sauces but there is definitely room for improvement.. again the fries were nice but nothing special. Seemed as if they were cooked in ‘old oil’. Overall the food was nice but due to the hype, we did expect better.

Worth a visit, just be aware of the soggy...

Ordered the cheeseburger and hand cut fries (in-dining). The server was very friendly and took our order right away. The food took about 20 mins to come but this could be due to the parade crowd piling in shortly after we ordered. The place was mayhem but both servers on the floor were calm and professional. When the food arrived, I couldn't believe how delicious the fries were - piping hot and mushy in the middle but very crispy on the outside and perfectly salted. The burger was one of the best I've eaten. The meat to bun ratio was on point and the patty itself was perfectly grilled with a good crispy crust and juicy on the inside (ordered it medium). The cheese was perfectly melted and the burger toppings were just the right amount, not dripping and not lacking. I was in burger and fries heaven. I would have liked to order a red wine to pair with the meal but the server never came back after dropping off my meal - understandable, given the mad rush! Will definitely be coming back but it's a good thing they are not located too close to...

What a great place for juicy and delicious burgers! Upon getting to the place, I realized how popular it is. The place was packed and rightfully so. The menu surprised me as it is a small card, the size of a business card, not what you'd typically expect. This tells you that they offer one thing and one thing only - burgers. When a restaurant offers/specialises in one meal, it means that you'll get value for your money because they focus all their energy on perfecting that one meal. I can truly say this about Bunsen burgers. I ordered the cheeseburger and sweet potato fries and thoroughly enjoy it! The waitress was friendly and asked us how we'd like our burgers cooked. The table comes with water, nice touch as hydration is key ;). Overall, I highly recommend this place if you love burgers.

Unfortunately, this is the best burger in Dublin with the worst service imaginable. We waited to be seated in a nearly empty restaurant — only 3 tables were taken. After we sat down and placed our order, another couple had to wait to be seated in a restaurant that now had just our table occupied. We waited ages to even place our order — the waiter didn’t bother looking at us. We specifically asked for extra cheese on all our burgers — didn’t happen. No drinks were brought out; I had to get up in the middle of my meal to ask for our Coke. And all of this at 4PM — with an empty restaurant. To top it off, when we tried to pay, we had to wait around while “sweetheart” was glued to her phone behind the counter. Horrible service. Get it together — your food deserves better than this.
