We decided to try Margadh on a whim after reading positive reviews on Google and Open Table. The service exceeded our expectations, with a welcoming and attentive staff that made us feel right at home. We opted for the tasting menu along with the optional wine pairing. While the wines were unique and thoughtfully selected, they didn't quite align with the elevated experience we anticipated given the restaurant’s price range. The food, while presented beautifully, fell a bit short in flavor, missing the mark on taste and depth.

There were a few upsells throughout the meal, which raised the per-person cost from around €100 to €120. The concept is certainly intriguing—transforming from an art café by day to a fine dining venue by night—but we felt that the food and wine pairings could benefit from further refinement to fully realize...

Margadh Café & wine bar is a hidden gem in Dublin City centre. Gallery on site too so it gives the Café Wine Bar feel creative in a 360 way. From the kitchen to food to how it is prepped, to having Ciara and the other fab gent who explained our dishes and a big way from the chef who got to take a break a gorgeous feel.

The charm of the place, is like no other. The smiles were fully registered in the building. Guests and staff all happy.

Plates were clean 👌

The tasting menu did not disappoint. It was sublime even for my Guten free choices. I was so happy. And they were attentive.

Thank you all from the prep chefs and Chef, to the guys managing clients and the food menu, the experience was 10 out of 10. My mom from the states loved it and my sister and I had the chefs kiss sign going on all night long.

Go raibh...

What a special jewel!

Margadh is a discovery that 2 friends whom we often join for food explorations introduced us to.

They suggested this place as a possible alternative to other good, fancier restaurants.

When we saw the cost of the tasting menu, the amount of courses, we could barely believe it was true. It's only because we trust these 2 friends that we decide to take the risk.

After having tried it, I know that I want to go there again and again.

The food was delicious. Extremely tasty, well balanced. Courses arrived with good cadence.

There was creativity without going to an extreme.

I think my favorite was the bon bin. I so much wish they brought more!

The coffee served in the glass reminded me of something typical of...

Went to Margadh to celebrate my 1:1 after a friend recommended. You know the scene in Ratatouille where Anton Ego (food critic) tries the dish and all of a sudden is having a childhood flashback? That’s what eating at Margadh felt like. Every single dish was an experience, the ingredients melting on our tongues and transporting us in sunny countrysides we’ve never even seen. The experience was simply amazing from start to finish, the atmosphere is intimate and authentic, you can smell the warm bread of your next course while you wait. The staff is very present without stealing the focus from the real star: exceptional food. Would recommend, return and gladly splurge to eat that well again.
