Visited here Monday 25.07.2022 for lunch. We were doing a walkabout on our last day in Dublin before we flew back to the US after vacation. We had stopped for a drink here one afternoon in 2018. This time we had plenty of time for lunch. Place was busy but we were seated right away near the bar. Server Rezah brought us menus and took our drink order. We had a wine (E7) & a beer (E4.50). We had a chicken caesar salad (E12.20) and the soup & grilled sandwich special (E9.50). Both were brought to our table in 20 minutes, well prepared and tasty. A very good value in the heart of Dublin. Sales & VAT taxes are confusing. They are itemized on tabs but are included in price of food & drink. Great service & good food & drink at a valued price. Nice place to visit. Thank you. Nick Parisi & Liz Farrell...

Came here as a recommendation from a friend, labeled as a locals legend. As you might expect in Ireland it’s an original authentic pub, the Irish aren’t the most warm folks in a pub. You’re kind of expected to know what’s going on. I mean these dude live it and we’re just here visiting. Great authentic live music during the day. Only food was soup and sandwich. I’ve have to say if you’re coming for a place to get an Irish beer or whiskey this is a great place. If you’re coming for a comfortable place to hang out, not so much. Overall a a place to say I’ve been to a real deal locals...

The bar man was very rude. After ordering a pint of Guinness for my husband I queried where the white wines on offer were from. He was very sneering with his reply. Playing to the male customers including my husband . He insisted all their white wines were from Chile. He was not only incorrect he showed he did not know anything about the three white wines they had on offer to sell. I ordered a pino Grigio which was not from Chile. It was from Italy. We did not stay for a second drink. We went to Davy Byrnes where we were treated much better. The bar staff there were in no way rude or...

A lot of other well known pubs get mentioned in the list of best "Guinness in Dublin" but for me this is the hidden gem of great pints of Guinness. A great place to pop into if you are in town, the service is always great, you will always find a seat. They have great Irish music in the evenings also. Ive never had the food so cant comment on that.

Dropped in last Saturday to watch the Liverpool game while my better half went shopping. A lot of people were ordering food which looked great and was really well presented. The atmosphere was nice and the staff friendly and to top it off a pint of Guinness was only €6, just of Grafton Street!! Excellent value and highly recommended.
