So disappointing. I had a very poor experience here last night with a group of friends. We booked this restaurant for a very overdue night out together and we were really looking forward to it. From the photos online it looked beautiful and very promising. Our first impression was not good. One of my party arrived after a few of us were already seated. The hostess didn't even acknowledge her, so my friend had to phone me to ask had we been seated and where we were. The air conditioning was broken on one of the hottest days of the year and the restaurant was stifling. We had to ask the waitress for our menus back once we had ordered just so we could fan ourselves. The menu is outrageously overpriced for what you get. I ordered the hake (29euro) which was cooked perfectly but was just a small piece of fish and a couple of pieces of scampi in a sauce with nothing else. Most main courses were the same. Just a protein with no veg or sides included. One of my party ordered the moules-frites which was a special and they forgot to serve her the fries. She had to ask for them and they arrived when she was almost finished eating. The cocktails were lovely but again overpriced. We also had been served one round of drinks and when finished we asked the waiter for another round to be then told there were no glasses left and that we had to wait for glasses to be cleaned. It was clear that it was a busy Saturday night with tables fully booked but to not have an adequate amount of glasses to serve drinks to your customers is something I have never experienced before and is just extremely poor service in my book. We were waiting over an hour to then have to ask again if we could order another round of drinks. The waitress was unsure so she told us she needed to go and check to make sure the glasses were cleaned. She returned to take our order 15 to 20 minutes later. My meal in total cost 67euro which included one piece of fish in a sauce, a side of chips which I ordered separately and 2 drinks. Absolute extortion. This restaurant, in my experience, is only good for a photo for the gram but not the food or service. I wouldn't be rushing back...

I went to Pink yesterday for an afternoon tea, and it was too fake for me. Even the flowers on the table were fake. I am really surprised that it has such a high rating in Google. For the money they charge, for the food, service and atmosphere, it is not worth it. The afternoon tea was mainly sweets. Only one choice of sandwich - chicken sandwiche and the 2 fried pieces. The goat cheese tart was too smelly and heavy to eat. The savoury food was not enough and not satisfying at all. The sweets were like they were bought from the shop. Only one or 2 things from the tray seemed like they were really made in the restaurant, and their taste was really nice, but for 2 mini things to pay 45 euro for adult is not smart. The chairs were not comfortable even for a slim person. As we were not happy with the afternoon tea , I ordered fish and chips as it looked and smelled very nicely. But again, disappointment - only nice on the outside but not on the inside. The fish was nice looking, but too much grease was in the batter, and the taste was compromised . The potatoes again looked great slightly to dark yellow, but on the inside, they were not cooked. The pink wing next to the door were nice but we almost missed them. And next to the door, people bump to each other, and it is hard to make a photo. No one from the staff told us about them and no photo on the table to say. So, overall, more disappointment and waste of money than really nice experiences as expected. The staff were always on the rush and, like forbiden, to talk to the clients . It looks like the owner is male and stingy as he did not know about the 8th of March the International Women Day and had no flower for the ladies visiting his restaurant. Moreover, the receipt was for 2 adults when the reservation and we were 1 adult and 1 child , and the waitress reacted like I was doing something wrong for questioning it. She did not apologise in any shape or form. So please check your receipts ...

Couldn’t wait to go here so I bought 4 friends afternoon tea for a Christmas present. We went yesterday and I’m so annoyed over the price. It was such a rip off! The place was nice, but most of the fancy decor was concentrated in the front of the restaurant, we were in a booth up the back. I was shocked to see our bill was €380! Afternoon tea was €225 for 5 of us!! One bottle of pink Prosecco was €50! Certainly wasn’t worth €50! They put a gratuity of €39.59 on our bill without informing me. The service was good & staff were lovely but it did not warrant nearly €40 of a tip!! We had other drinks too but not many. The place is so overpriced for what you get. The food was mediocre. One person is very fussy and barely ate anything. I didn’t think the croque-monsieur or cheese balls were nice and I love cheese. I didn’t eat these. The salmon tart wasn’t nice either. So I hadn’t much else to choose from savoury wise. Some of the desserts were nice but 2 of them nearly tasted the same. I’ve made nicer desserts myself!

We only got two trays between 5 ppl too! I’ve never seen such a scabby afternoon tea for the price of it. We were all hungry a couple of hours after it. I will never go here again. It’s overrated and overpriced. I had afternoon tea in the Westin in May and we got nearly the same amount of food between 2 of us! The novelty of the Pink Restaurant was good, but we would’ve had a proper filling meal in the Ivy for less! Pink Restaurant, you need to change the food, increase the portions and take the sneaky tip from the bill! I think the novelty of Pink will wear off eventually & you won’t have many returning customers. I never write reviews but I’m so annoyed I just had to write this one to inform others. It’s a money making scam for a girl’s day out just to squash into a photo with flowers on the wall with the word Pink to put on Instagram! 4 of us couldn’t even get into a photo coz it’s at the stairs and staff and customers...

This is a fabulous spot for a gals night out! I went here about a month ago with some friends. The aesthetic was amazing and a really Enjoyable place to be. If you want to get lots of pictures for your Instagram - this is the place to go. The food was really good and everything is served on pink dishes which is really cute. I had the arancini which were delicious and tasty, the sea bass tempura which was cooked to perfection, and the chocolate heart - fab way to end the dinner. The portions aren’t huge in the main courses so you definitely have to order some sides for the table to go with. This restaurant is definitely still getting off the ground and I appreciate the 20% discount we got for going in their opening weeks. The service was slow the night we were there - we sat down at 8:30 and no one approached us for even a glass of water until almost 9pm. The service was great when you’re being taken care of, and you cannot blame the restaurant for the current climate. I understand how difficult it is to get staff and everyone is trying their best. I think they’re aware of that too and hence the discount. I wish them all the best with their new venture!

The place has definitely a special appeal, with a unique atmosphere of special events. Not surprisingly while we were there we saw 3 celebrations of birthdays. We found the service to be polite and efficient. Ok our table we were welcomed by a nice booklet explaining the "rules" to follow to have breakfast like someone from the high society of times now gone would have. The food arrived promptly, maybe even too much as we had just started our Prosecco (pink Prosecco, of course :D ) There were 5 savory & 5 sweet options. I liked all the savory ones and even loved a couple of them. I found the sweet options interesting but in comparison a bit less than the savory ones. Food seemed all fresh and high quality. Presentation was outstanding, way better than any other afternoon tea I have ever attended. That has its weight. In fact, considered how exclusive the experience was (also because taking place in the very heart of the cit) I considered the 45EUR per person almost cheap compared to how crazy prices have gone these days in Dublin.

Went to Pink for the first time with a group of about ten ladies to celebrate a special birthday. Very excited to experience this and the set up and food were absolutely fabulous 🤩. Our party spent a lot of money in a very short time. However, the experience was overshadowed by the fact that the staff, from the minute we walked in told us we had a two hour slot, which we accepted totally but then proceeded to (no other way to phrase it) harass us stating when it was time to order the food to rushing us at the end, to the extent that the feeling was very uncomfortable. One of our ladies didn't receive her already paid for coffee and felt it was too late to ask for it again. A real shame as I would advocate the venue and delicious food but staff need how to approach customers, one or two gentle reminders are fine but not full on demanding from the minute we say down. We left, on time, made no fuss, but I would think twice about returning.
