The food was not really good. I ordered a Pizza, half with cured beef and half with fried eggplant and zucchinis. The dough was absolutely not fluffy or good at all. It seemed a bit raw and squeezy. And the worst was that the vegetables on the pizza tasted so much like seafood/fish (which I don’t eat) that I couldn’t eat that part at all. Probably they used the same knife or board to prepare it … for me it was just disgusting. I also got my Pizza way earlier than the other dish, so we couldn’t start eating together. The other dish were the Ravioli Caprese, which were okay but tasted like usual Tomato sauce from the supermarket. They even charged 7€ for one small lemon juice which was already filled with a lot of water. The typical „coperto“ was also 6€… and the food in general was very pricy. The waiters were friendly and the view on the dome was actually very nice. But I wouldn’t recommend the food there, not even for the view.

Sant’Andrea is nothing far beyond average, but has good service, and good food. I spent 4 days in Amalfi and this is the best place I tried. Not terribly expensive, and a decent quality. I tried the Carbonara and the Ravioli. The carbonara was light on bacon flavor and heavy on egg but still was a 7/10. The ravioli was fresh and was highlighted by the fresh red sauce that had a perfect sweet tang to it revolving an 8/10. The service was as expected and the fact that it is in the town center is definitely a value add. (2.5 per person cover fee)

I have been there for three times, every time i enjoyed my meal, the entrecote was so juicy and taesty, the portion is so big, could be shared for two persons. The pizza is delicious, but the seabass plate is extremly good. Behind the restaurent is a charming lady Mrs Patricia , she is so welcoming and beloved by clients and her staff. I had the privilege to visit inside the kitchen and meet the chef Arturo, and coworkers, as well the young beautifull daughter Melani. Thanks to your hospitality , hope to visit you again🌹❤️🌹

3 of my friends and I arrived in Amalfi after a long day of travelling and chose this restaurant to eat in. 2 of us needed to go check in to our airbnb as there was a strict check in time. We were given a 4 person table. My friend and I who were holding down the table ordered drinks (aperol spritzes). After a few minutes the waiter started joking that I don’t need to “memorise the menu” indicating that I’m taking too long to order. We started to feel a little pressured to order then. Although we wanted to wait to eat with our friends we decided to order a small starter (arancini) and a shared pizza first. The food and drinks tasted good so far. After a few minutes the waiter came back and abruptly asked where our friends were again. Because of this my friend and I decided to order our mains without our friends. The waiter was huffing and puffing so I asked him if there was a problem considering that we were ordering plenty of food so far and that we had 4 suitcases with us so obviously our friends were going to come. He said that it wasn’t his restaurant but it’s not normal for them to allow a 4 person table to be empty for 2 people and that if our friends didn’t arrive in 10 minutes they will move the remaining 2 tables so that they can receive more business. After a mere two minutes they send ANOTHER waiter/lady who started hassling us yet again. I reminded the lady the other waiter said 10 minutes and it had only been 2 and this made her leave. We felt truly vilified by this point and lost our appetites once our mains came. After this experience the food for the rest of the night tasted average. My pizza tasted undercooked and the ingredients were not blended well together. When the rest of our party joined us they ordered their mains and they weren’t happy either. Overall this was our worst dining experience in Italy so far. It’s clear this restaurant has no customer care training, they’re in a prime location and know they will get business from unsuspecting tourists. But we warn you, apart from the location it was bad service and bad food! Save yourself from being treated badly on the...

This was one of the best places we ate dinner on our whole ~3 week trip to Italy

We had the seafood pasta dishes and they were absolutely phenomenal! The lemon spritz's were also delicious! The staff were very friendly and prices were reasonable (for Amalfi) The outdoor seating right next to the Duomo was also very memorable!

It was so good that we returned for my wife's birthday, the staff must have noticed the gift for her on the table and figured this out, as they came out with our desserts singing happy birthday and gave us free limoncello shots (which we greatly enjoyed and appreciated!) This was such a nice touch and raised our already high opinion of the staff!

Overall it was the best dinner experience we had in our whole ~3 week trip to Italy! We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and we will certainly be back next time we're in Amalfi! Thanks...
