La Caffetteria del Castello dal 1890 — Restaurant in Bari

Great experience! We went twice in the same day. Firstly we were looking for an expresso after lunch and a traditional desert/pastry. We found this cafe, the staff was lovely and the baked pistachio pasticcioto (typical sweet/pastry filled with cream) delicious!!

Hours later we wanted to try the famous draft beer - Raffo - and they had it there, again another great experience !

I stayed in Bari for 3 weeks whilst exploring Puglia. I came here 4/5 different times for breakfast/a spritz and I always found the staff to be nice and kind and not pushy like other places. We choose this place for a quick bite as lunch.

We ate a nice sandwich. Freshly prepared, with decent ingredients.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.

They need to pay attention to have enough paper in the toilets and for drying the hands.

Recommended.
