To potential customers:
This place is a red flag. If you are a tourist, be careful.
If you don’t like their food they will try to gaslight you into thinking you are the one who don’t know how to appreciate good food, while they are the ones that can’t make good food.
To the person responsible for answering to reviews:
It’s dissapointing that you lie in your comments and mistreat a me and my partner in your reply to her review, just because there is no way to reply again.
Besides the food being bad, you have the face to try to justify it as if we are not able to appreciate or if this was the first time we ever ate anything in whole Italy. Italy has the best cousine in the world and your restaurant has the worst.
Your pasta was undercooked. I know very well what is al-dente and what you served was al-raw;
The bread with the polpetes was so hard that i couldn’t even cut with the knife. Next time please provide a chainsaw;
The sauce of polpetes was so salty i had to drink two bottles of my own water;
I won’t give you money for your overpriced water to help me swallow the food that i already regret to pay for. You should be thankful we finished eating and paid for it instead of returning the food to make a scene in front of other customers.
The cheese in the olives dish was very good. I don’t know how you mistreated those olives so badly that they were unedible;
Your staff was extremely pushy for us to order quickly without waiting for us to finish reading the menu; you are not fast food and all other tables were empty. Be patient and wait for customer to place the order.
Besides being pushy your staff were kind. You, whom is resposible for replying to reviews, need to learn how to treat customers. Understand that we are not there to do you a favor. Mind your manners on the comments and take criticism as a way to improve your service. The way you are not able to tolerate honest reviews shows exactly who is acting in absolutely outrageous and embarrassing way (using your own way to describe a customers just because they drank their own water). Had you shown your true face with this amount of rudeness when i arrived, i would’ve left the restaurant without even picking a seat.
No wonder it...
Read moreDear consumer, Fact: I ordered a sort of pizza with burrata, raw tuna and almonds. I received it and it had a warm in it. I have asked the waitress to come, I showed it to her. She took it and 2 min later she and the chef came, telling me that the warm is from pistachio - I said that my pizza didn’t have pistachio but almonds. She then left, the owner was informed. Before leaving, the owner comes to me explaining me the same thing that the warm is from pistachio. I told him that it is not relevant, it is a bad experience. I had a warm in my food. He tried to convince me that the food is fresh - again, it might be, but mine had a warm in it. The reason why I leave this review is because as an answer to my first review, the owner called me a liar that the food didn’t have a warm and I didn’t want to pay. how could I have paid for a food that I didn’t eat as it had a warm in it? I would have appreciated if he would have just apologized and told me that he would look into it and investigate not try to convince me that the warm came from the pistachio, as that would be normal. As a duty to all the consumers, I leave this comment here not only because the food had a warm in it, but because of lack of responsibility that the owner took. It is also sad to see that you - the person answering the review lie in your answer, but reading previous comments it seems that this is a thread and you always do this. Very sad and pathetic in...
Read moreWe have recently visited Tuccio e café, and it was awesome! After having visited multiple locations and villages with mountains of options to dine at, we stumbled across Tuccio on our last night in Bari. We wanted our last night to end with a bang, and Tuccio delivered. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a very kind staff member who, right away, had us sitting in a cute outdoor-type dining area; which, in my opinion, really brought an amazing feel and atmosphere to our dining experience. Once we were seated, our hostess quickly brought us some fresh natural water and some complimentary snacks - which were scrumptious, might I add.
I ordered the 'Zozzana' - Linguini pasta with vegetable and guanciale; which happened to win my family's 'best meal of the night'. Rightfully so, it was the perfect combination of veggie and meat. We ordered the 'Bracciole' - rolled up veal with tomato sauce and bread on the side; the dish was the perfect choice for any meat-and-sauce lover. We ordered the salmon salad off the salad menu, and it was delicious; I really recommend it! Lastly, we ordered the 'entrecôte' - meat and cheese flakes on top; spoiler alert, we absolutely loved it.
The staff and service were extremely helpful when serving us; and, in all, really raised the atmosphere in the restaurant. Although the food took a little time to reach the plate, it was worth every second. Definitely recommend if you are in...
