Aida Restaurant Pizzeria — Restaurant in Bolzano - Bozen

The food was nice and the location is great however our experience was ruined by one of the waiter's extremely rude behaviour. We were spoken to in a very condescending and disrespectful manner (including asking us if we thought the restaurant was Mcdonalds or if it was the first time we had been to a restaurant) even though the mistake was on his part. Having spoken to the waiter's colleague, a much more pleasant and helpful man, the problem was resolved, although the rude waiter refused to acknowledge his mistake...

La mia recensione non si baserà su ciò che ho mangiato, anzi, ciò che non ho mangiato, ma sulla presa in giro del ristorante. Settimane prima, mi informo tramite mail riguardo alla cena di capodanno e non ricevo alcuna risposta. Per cui il giorno prima di capodanno, chiamo al telefono e mi vengono dette testuali parole "abbiamo due turni: quello delle 19 e delle 21, ma non prendiamo prenotazioni, per cui se venite per il turno delle 21 c'è la possibilità che troviate un tavolo sicuro". La sera di capodanno allora, io ed il mio fidanzato ci rechiamo 40 minuti prima delle 21, in modo che per il turno non avremmo incontrato molta coda. Ma sorpresa: dopo qualche minuto il cameriere ci dice che il ristorante è tutto pieno in quanto le persone avevano prenotato e tutti i tavoli quindi erano riservati. Ma come, mi avevate detto che non prendevate prenotazioni cosicché ci fosse un'affluenza maggiore di gente! Vi chiedo solo per il futuro, di dire le cose chiaramente al cliente e che se non avevate più posto bastava dirlo, in modo che quando ci si reca (sicuri di trovare il tavolo) al ristorante non ci siano sorprese. Avoid at all costs. The service was terrible; one waiter with limited interest. The beer and aperol spritz were flat. Two our of four pizzas were inedible. We waited and waited for service.
