Restaurant Review: Trattoria da Pasquale in Capri
During our recent visit to Capri, we had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria da Pasquale, a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable culinary experience. The restaurant is run by Lucca, a wonderful host who is always ready to help, making every guest feel like part of the family.
The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the fresh sea bass, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Lucca paired this with a special pasta made with the juices of the fish, a unique and delightful combination that showcased the chef's creativity and expertise. Both the fish and the pasta were not only tasteful but also impeccably cooked, demonstrating a high level of skill and dedication to quality.
What makes Trattoria da Pasquale truly stand out is its affordability. In comparison to the typical price range of restaurants in Capri, Lucca's establishment is an amazing find. It offers exceptional value for money without compromising on taste or quality.
Overall, dining at Trattoria da Pasquale was a highlight of our trip to Capri. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food, warm hospitality, and a great dining experience at a...
Read moreThe man in the picture is 100% the rudest person I’ve ever ran into in Capri
Looking for somewhere to eat where they had pizza and before walking in, he waved his finger in front of my wife’s face and said no.
And went back into his conversation so many people here in Capri are absolutely wonderful and nice, but this man can really change somebody’s trajectory of this place and it’s sad because it’s right before you walk up to the most beautiful part of Capri.
Even if somebody told me this is a Michelin restaurant I wouldn’t be here because realistically the food really didn’t look that great he didn’t even let me take a look at the menu and didn’t give me the benefit of the doubt to even tell me politely, we needed a reservation And I understand you need reservation for some places but there’s kinder ways to tell people, especially when they’re just there trying to give you business.
I would never even consider trying this restaurant again. If the service and owner is this rude I can’t imagine how they care...
Read moreHad lunch here with family as part of ferry deal arranged by Napolitana cousins. The food was quite nice but very limited choice as part of deal. Choice of 2x primi and 2x secondi and dolce. Food good. Service whilst relatively efficient was bare minimum… grumpy, sour faced waitress who plonked items on table rather than served. nNo smiles, no courtesy. Toilets were relatively clean but only one per gender. Views would have been nice but as a group of 4; you are relegated to the back inside tables…or it was because we had prepaid lunch.? I then ordered a jack daniels and coke as the included wine tasted severely watered down; and much to our disgust and horror, this one standard beverage cost 15 euro!!!! $30 AUD… abhorrent abuse of a tourist haven… be warned everyone…you can buy two of these whisky bottles in Italy for this price. Aussies where exchange rate is...
