You know, I'd probably recommend this place and the food, which was great, but my wife and I ate there last night so the experience is a little to fresh. Let me explain the three star rating: we choose this place specifically because of the good Google rating. On arriving were warned that there was a 25 minute wait and then we're seated at an empty table in the alley with little light. As promised no one came by for about 25 minutes - a bottle of wine or some bread would have been nice to order while we waited but not so much as a glance. Our appetizer order was incorrect, though the saffron scallops with bacon were delicious, even if the scallops weren't cleaned properly. We were offered sides with our mains, which never came and when we finished, we sat in the dark for 30 minutes before getting up to go inside to find out where the staff went. This place is for the serious foodie or for those who are ready to partake of something that is not available most anywhere else. It's hard to believe a non-tourist restaurant in the heart of a tourist area. Those seeking authentic local cuisine must come here and dine like kings and queens. Tonight we went there party of 4. When we there we were the 2nd table in our quarter.After us four more tables came. We ordered cheese plate and the main courses . They served all the other tables (11 PERSONS) while we were left with our cheese plate. When we complained about it our second waitress was extremely rude and kept going on doing it.
