This place has such a romantic vibe! Originally a medieval stable, it's been beautifully restored and turned into a cozy restaurant since 2007. The service is great, and the setting makes for a really unique dining experience. They’ve got an amazing selection of wine, and the dinner is just fantastic—definitely a spot worth checking out! We were a party of four. I had to make my reservation online twice. The staff is nice. I was the only one to order an antipasto bruschetta with lard and unfortunately it did arrive after my main dish was already on the table. I had the slow cooked wild board with polenta, it was good, a little too salted, but I think that having something sweet on the plate with it would have been nice. The deserts were very nice.

Di ritorno in questo accogliente ed incantevole locale tipico di Cortona e della toscanita' , dopo quarantene e restrizioni varie , lo trovo sempre molto accogliente , romantico e suggestivo sia all'interno che nella sua semplice terrazzina esterna . Alcuni cambiamenti nel menù per stimolare i clienti storici abituali e sinceramente ogni portata stimola la mia fantasia e le mie papille gustative . Interessanti le zuppe , gli antipasti , ma onestamente la curiosità si concentra su primi , secondi e pure dolci . Carta vini aggiornata ed arricchita con molte cantine autoctone del luogo . Pici al ragù ottimi , cappellacci al capriolo deliziosi e spighe di formaggio al tartufo da farti desiderare un bis . Filetto per tutti i gusti a seguire : in cappella di porcino , all' Amarone con patate e tartufo , di cinta alla frutta con purè al ginger . Tutto perfetto e stimolante . Per finire pannacotta al vinsanto , zuccotto fiorentino e bavarese al cioccolato con granella . Deliziosissimi . Concludendo , posso dire che tornarci è stato un vero piacere e riscoprire certi gusti od inebriarsi in nuove esperienze gustative è stato un'esperienza che spero di rivire ben presto .

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience! We sat outside and were completely smoked out (cigarettes) by two males with a dog and a child. The child was completely unruly and not looked after, while choking the dog and hitting it in the face. The male didn’t tend to either the dog or child. There was another woman eating dinner with her dog who asked multiple times for the child to keep the dog away from her and her dog. Turns out, the child, dog, and male were her family! She was walking over them to serve our food. Just a HORRIBLE and uneasy experience!

The apps - great! Really enjoyed them in between the dog barking and kid screams. The risotto and raviolis- terrible! The risotto tasted like an uncooked boxed of rice a roni and the raviolis were filled with potatoes with mean thrown on top.

Overall - atmosphere and food are completely not worth your time. Avoid and go to the other amazing places in the...

The food in this restaurant is really good and in addition they pay a very commenable attention to gluten-free requirements. Of particular note, they have a separate menu listing the gluten-free dishes. This is so much better than simply marking the dishes on the same menu, no mistake can be made. Also, the waiting staff are really friendly and helpful. There was a choice of 3 different gluten-free pastas, Mains were tasty, the slow cooked beef cheeks deserve a spacial mention. The chef came out to speak with us and then she offrred to make a special gluten-free desert of apple in pastry parcels with butterscotch sauce, absolutely delicious. Great...
