Corte Pozzi — Restaurant in Desenzano del Garda

I've eaten a lot of cold starter plates-around the world, but here, I don't know the butcher which they have, but the meat is incredible. It's soft, it's tasty, it's salty. It has everything that a cold starter dish had to be. The atmosphere is more than authentic. I was sitting on the balcony and I was feeling like in an Italien Hollywood scene. The main course: No words needed. I had the tortelli Al manzo. Unbelievable. The noodle Al dente, the sauce was tasteful. All together-if I will ever come back to desenziano, I will defently eat here again. And I will say it to everybody I know. It IS the best restaurant here in desenziano. Grazie....

Ho scelto questo posto dalle foto, casualmente, cercando un ristorante al centro di Desenzano, dove pranzare in una giornata piovosa. Siamo entrati in questo ambiente magico, che è coperto, ma dà il senso della sala all'aperto, estremamente curato, dal sapore rustico e raffinato insieme. Abbiamo ordinato gnocchi alla sorrentina e primo di mare con pasta fresca. Valutazione...discreta. gli gnocchi erano buoni, immersi in una salsa molto saporita, ma con poca mozzarella, non amalgamata al resto, come vorrebbe la ricetta. Però, col pane buonissimo che offrono e tutto quel bel sugo, ho fatto una scarpetta infinita. Il primo di mare pare fosse buono, forse troppo untuoso. Poi ho preso delle verdure grigliate, ma, probabilmente errore mio, perché me le aspettavo già condite. Invece arrivano appena piastrate (calde le verdure grigliate mi disgustano) e con sale e olio a parte, mah.. sognavo quei bei contorni con aglietto, prezzemolo, freddi e saporiti (secondo me potrebbero farsi in entrambi i modi e far scegliere al cliente come si vogliono, ma caldi e senza niente assolutamente no, condita al momento la verdura calda è davvero brutta). Poi ho preso un creme caramel che pareva fatto da loro e mi è molto piaciuto. Servizio efficiente e molto gentile. Il conto è leggermente salato, secondo me, rispetto alla cucina. The location is super nice and the atmosphere is good. However the waiter we got was rude and sloppy. The other waiters looked nice and proffesional. I ordered the t-bone steak and asked for it medium rare, i was served a well done steak and when i complained she offered a new one, wich is nice, but the new one was raw and unseasoned. so raw it was inedible. Really...
