巴师傅 Ristorante Bashifu — Restaurant in Florence

First of all the food was excellent. Its the only chinese restaurant I been to so far in Europe where the sizzling beef was tenderized and so juicy. I also had their crispy shrimp which was amazing. And I was surprised at the generous portion when I ordered their vermicelli ant climb over something noodle. But what I want to share with you all is their honesty. See I left my entire handbag in their restaurant overnight. I only realized the following morning it was gone. And when i returned to the restaurant, I was almost sure there was no way I would get it back because there is few thousand dollars of USD,SGD and also Euro all cash, a whole bunch of my credit cards and also my 2 karat pink diamond earrings that i kept in my bag as there was no vault where I stayed. But they kept my bag without one penny missing. I teied giving them 100 Euro tip but they rejected it saying this is what they do, they would always keep anything customers accidentally leave behind. I am utterly disappointed by the treatment my family and I received. Despite arriving promptly and eagerly waiting outside before opening hours, we were abruptly turned away due to the restaurant being fully booked. However, nowhere on Google Maps or any other platform did it mention the necessity of reservations.

We were making an arduous journey to Florence with our children and cumbersome luggage via taxi, the staff there displayed a complete disregard for our circumstances, providing no assistance or understanding. Sono rimasto incuriosito dal menù esposto in vetrina, con molte foto invitanti di piatti tipici del Sichuan, ed ho deciso di provarlo. All'ingresso non spicca per ordine e pulizia ma frequentando spesso questa tipologia di locale ci sono abituato; seduti al tavolo si ha la stessa impressione guardando sedute e stoviglie. Le tempistiche per prendere le ordinazioni e per l'arrivo dei piatti sono piuttosto lunghe, lasciandoci oltretutto nell'attesa senza bevande. Devo dire che nel menù i piatti piccanti sono indicati con un peperoncino ma non vi è una scala che ne indichi l'intensità quindi tra i vari piatti possono esserci enormi differenze nel dosaggio delle spezie piccanti; essendo piatti tipici del Sichuan, alcune pietanze possono mettere in crisi anche persone amanti del piccante come me che, all'assaggio dei wonton in brodo, ho letteralmente rischiato di soffocare per uno spasmo alla gola, irritata dall'improvvisa esplosione piccante, avuto mentre ingoiavo il primo boccone, non riuscendo poi a parlare e a riprendere aria correttamente per almeno 10 minuti e consumando un pacchetto di fazzoletti tra lacrime, sudore ed umori vari!! Wonton comunque buoni nonostante l'esperienza traumatica.😅 Il resto dei piatti aveva una piccantezza più accettabile almeno per me; la mia compagna, che ha richiesto espressamente piatti con pochissimo peperoncino, non è comunque riuscita a finire i piatti che aveva ordinato. Riguardo le pietanze da me ordinate devo dire che erano buone, soprattutto le melanzane in salsa yuxiang, ma l'intestino di maiale era un po' forte, personalmente preferisco una pulizia delle interiora più approfondita. Rapporto qualità/prezzo direi basso, in questa tipologia di locali ci aspetta prezzi più economici; alcuni piatti sono costati il doppio di quanto li pago solitamente.
