We tried to find a restaurant for drinks before lunch and google maps said that this place is open from 11 AM. The door is closed so I opened it and asked very nicely if they’re already open. The lady (waitress/owner) came to me and started yelling “no no if you see the door closed it means we’re closed!!” And I apologized and said I saw from google maps you’re opened, she said “I don’t care, we’re human beings, blablabla”.

It was very unpleasant and unacceptable. She’s extremely rude. I’ve been putting this place in my list if I visited Florence and now I regret it. Everyone in Florence was really friendly and nice but this lady is just...

Alright, this might seem like your ordinary café but it's not. The staff is amazing, courteous and very friendly. Their spoken English is very good and the food, if you happen to stop by for lunch or supper, is tasty. There's a new special's menu every day. During the day it's a quiet space. It's very easy and comfortable get some light reading in and have a coffee. The coffee, latte's and cappuccino's supersede the average.
