My child dropped his gelato just after buying and we returned to buy another one. And the generous lady offered him an extra free scoop. This simple act captures the essence of Edoardoâs spirit.    Read moređ Tao's Google Restaurant Reviews đ This gelato place has been shown on multiple vlogs and influencer pages and is quite highly rated. It is located quite conveniently near the Duomo. In terms of flavours, I tried the salted pistachio and the egg and lemon zest gelato. The gelato was actually quite mediocre and not meeting the expectations that we had for it. We've had much better gelato in Rome and elsewhere in Florence. This gelato's texture was not the richness that you would expect, would melt extremely quickly, and tasted very saccharine and artificial to be quite honest. It did not compare to what else we have had in Italy so far. If you're looking for something nearby, sure, try this. But don't expect it to be the best gelato in Italy like every other reviewer says. It's just okay (and that's already generous). The server was nice though!

We were curious tourists so we decided to join the line and try it out. We had about 15 people in front of us which took about 20 + minutes, Getting to the front of the line it was soon evident why it was taking so long - they only had two staff working and both of them took their time to greet us, and serve us in a polite, unrushed and proper manner.
We ordered the Piccolo cone which gave us two scoops for 3 euro. We were pleasantly surprised that the cones were freshly made on site! We ordered two cones with the following flavours: Zabaione (Fresh Eggs and White Wine), Crema (Fresh Eggs and Vanilla), Pear and Liquorice. I recommend the Zabaione and the Crema flavour. Only order the Liquorice if you're a fan of...
