Red Garter — Restaurant in Florence

My family and I were in italy, and of course we are football fans ( "American football") when we were out and about , this was one of the places we noticed on Google had the games on. When I walked in to ask, it was seemingly a tiny little place, but once in, we realized quickly that there was much more to this place. The owner (not sure his name , I know it began with an F) he was behind the bar, and was very accommodating. He specifically streamed the college game we wanted... and we had little bites to eat that night. We went back next day, for the nfl game, and man, did it ever get packed! The place opens up as well to a whole other side with karaoke and dancing with deejay. Hubby and I decided to get the big steak that came with fries (way amazing, fresh as heck ), but the best part was the steak. My husband doesn't eat steak on a regular basis because he doesn't care for beef.. but he ate this like it was candy. Lol, the meat was amazing! And for the price, respectively, way way worth it for the quality. The staff was amazing, and very helpful and nice. I mean, this place was so good, we went there 2 days in a row.. (yes, they had football... but we went back bc the staff and food. My inlaws ate the wings, which were also just as yummy. We were all so grateful for the amazing staff,and grateful it was apart of our italy experience ❤️ thank you to the wonderful owner...

There are lots of clubs in Florence Italy. There are also lots of places to eat in Florence Italy. I have been to more fair share of places well here and after my time here I can say with the upmost certainty the best place in Florence Italy not just to eat but also to get a drink is Red garter. The food is some of, if not the best, food I’ve had during my time in Florence Italy, the drinks are without a shadow of the doubt the best drinks in Florence Italy (especially when you take into consideration that the drinks are much cheaper here then their competitors). The atmosphere is amazing the dance floor they have is big enough so it never feels to cramped well also not being so small that I feel crushed amongst people. It is also the nicest karaoke bar in Florence Italy. But all this pales in comparison to the true best Aspect to Red Garter, there is a saying “it takes a village to raise a boy” well the same can be applied to a club “it takes the staff to make a club great” the staff who works at Red Garter are without a shadow of doubt the best staff I have ever had the pleasure to be served! Every time I’ve been served by this staff they always has a smile on his face, he is always nice, he is always having fun, their drinks are the best drinks I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting, they very apologetic if something goes wrong (even if the thing in question is a very small thing completely out of their control), well I’ve been studying abroad in Florence Italy they are like a family away from home to me which them providing that sense of family to me helped me with adjusting to being so far away from home, they always makes sure to make time to talk to their customers and make sure they feel welcomed, and you can overall just tell they love their job (which is something rare to find in the customer service field) they are an amazing staff and Red Garter is lucky to have workers as great as them. Lo staff che lavora al Red Garter è senza ombra di dubbio il miglior staff che abbia mai avuto il piacere di servire! Ogni volta che sono stato servito da questo personale, hanno sempre un sorriso stampato in faccia, sono sempre gentili, si divertono sempre, i loro drink sono i migliori che abbia mai avuto il piacere di assaggiare, si scusano molto se qualcosa va storto (anche se la cosa in questione è una cosa molto piccola completamente fuori dal loro controllo), beh, ho studiato all'estero a Firenze, in Italia, sono come una famiglia lontano da casa per me e il loro senso di famiglia mi ha aiutato ad adattarmi a essere così lontano da casa, si assicurano sempre di trovare il tempo per parlare con i loro clienti e di assicurarsi che si sentano i benvenuti, e nel complesso si può dire che amano il loro lavoro (cosa rara da trovare nel campo del servizio clienti), sono uno staff straordinario e Red Garter è fortunata ad avere dipendenti...

Enjoyed my experience at first but was assaulted twice ( forcefully shoved by securury ) for simply waiting in line to sing kareoke in a crowd of drunk people at least 6-12 inches taller than me. I've never experienced anything like this in my entire life. Typically there is a sign up process for kareoke but this was complete chaos.No system or instructions put in place for crowd control or kareoke. I arrived before 9pm yet waited in "line" once kareoke started until I was forcefully shoved by security for the second time around midnight and chose to left. I was already in an uncomfortable situation with hoards of intoxicated people dancing around me and flooding in from all directions. I stayed because my friend really wanted to sing but after being forcefully shoved and yelled at I left. All of my 10+ years as an adult at a bar or club I've never been treated this way. I literally had someone step on my boot and break a designer chain while waiting in line yet. Too many people for the...
