Rivarno Café — Restaurant in Florence

Im studying abroad here in Florence and when I walked the employee asked me if i was a study abroad student. I believe she was the owner. She gave me 20% off. She remembered me when i went back and automatically gave me the discount. A lovely, clean, delicious place. The staff is very friendly. Food is great and refreshing. The juice drinks are light and amazing. Give this little place a try if you are thinking about it. It has a great atmosphere and is beautifully decorated. Stumbled into this place while looking for a study spot. Ordered the pistachio latte, matcha latte, cappuccino and banana choco bread. The pistachio latte was delicious, def recommend with the oat milk. The cold matcha latte would’ve been better warm and sweetened. The cappuccino was more towards the bitter taste if you’re into that type of coffee. The banana bread was really soft and moist, loved that they serve it warm. Not so "Italian" unfortunately. Delicious cake (3,50€), beautiful place, the cappuccino (2,50€ each incl service) has a normal price for Firenze, but did not taste good and everything is very touristic there. Furthermore they have only empty Cornetto/brioche (vuoto), none with crema or chocolate etc. Also, quite slow service and they speak only English to you even if you talk to them in Italian. Besides the cappuccino it's a good "hipster" café, but not what we are used to in Italy....
