I repeatedly asked the waiter if the meal i had ordered would be gluten free. He assured me it was. When it arrived I was still concerned about a couple of items on the plate, one of which I had taken a mouthful of. As the food was cold I asked him to take the plate back to the kitchen and check again. The manager was insistent that he thought the food was gluten free. On return the food items I was concerned about had been removed so obviously they did contain gluten. The manager and staff seemed to think that as I ate what was left (there was no substitution) then there was no problem. When I was talking to the manager at the end of the meal it was clear that neither he or his staff had any understanding of the severity of allergies or how they may present . We had spent our birthday party at this place, the menu they offered us was delicious. We even asked for one vegetarian menu and they had no troubles in doing it. Waiters that served us were very professional and passionate, I had a feeling they wanted us to feel welcome. The only little thing is that there was too much food we couldn’t finish ( 21 people for dinner for 3 course meal). And at the cash desk the lady was not attentive to make us pay, as we booked for 23 pax dinner but there were 21 of us, there was just misunderstanding at the cashier.

Overall we had a pleasant night, thanks to the location which was wonderful, music was super nice and stuff was friendly. Grazie!
