EATME & GO — Restaurant in Milan

We were looking for Cesarino but this place seems to have taken it over? Their cash machine mysteriously wasn't working for us and they wanted cash. As I waited at the till for my food the cash machine miraculously started working for other customers. Food was poor quality. We ordered a Coke Zero and when our food was ready they just pointed us to a cooler which only had diet Pepsi. They didn't tell us whether we had to wait for our food or it would be sent to our table. I don't recommend, try anywhere else.

1. I an a completely independent Irish tourist... look at my other reviews. In my 3 day stay, yours was the only negative review.
2. I will clarify... I don't mean cash machine I mean "card machine". Your staff (you should really ask them yourself) refused to take a Visa debit card to pay for a meal. Then while I was waiting at the cashier till for my meal, they accepted another customers payment with the same card machine via a mobile phone app. Then your female cashier joked in Italian to another staff member that I noticed their card machine worked for another customer. Which was insulting.
3. I will admit that the left half of your shop had a lot of pastries and cakes that looked nice. We bought from the right hand side of your shop. Where square pizzas were lying in the open, in the hot weather under a glass display case for who knows how long. They weren't that nice and I threw most of it in the bin.

Perhaps you should take this review to improve your shop

1. accept card payments
2. train your staff to tell your customers if they have to wait at the till for their food or whether your staff will drop it to the table when it's ready
3. train your staff to tell customers when Coke Zero is not available during ordering, and tell them they must accept...

After receiving a response from the management, I must clarify that my negative review was not aimed at any specific dish but rather the overall dining experience. While I appreciate the acknowledgment of the possibility of mistakes, my disappointment stemmed from the lack of flavor and uniqueness in all the dishes we tried. Despite pointing out specific items like the ARANCINO DI RISO and Supli, the issue was not solely with these items but with the overall taste profile of the food. The Supli lacked salt, the focaccia was overly oily, the Pasticcioto fell short of expectations compared to ones I've had in Puglia, and the tart with strawberries was overwhelmed by the tartness and had an insufficient cream layer ratio. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations, and I felt it necessary to provide feedback on our experience. Service and atmosphere were great and I believe you could work a little further in the taste of the food as it already looks...

This place might have some good food, I’ve had a coffee there before. But the reason why I’m giving 1 star (if I could, I’d give 0) is because of the lack of sensibility and humanity. I got robbed in Milan, my backpack with my passport inside was stolen, I had nothing with me, for days I had to sleep in the streets. One day pass in front of the place and saw they’re closing, I approximated to the restaurant and the guy told me they were closed. So I just asked them! I’m sorry but is there any of these food you gonna throw away? They said yes! And ask the guy, can I have it for me (because I was hungry), and the guy said no, I am sorry, but I can’t do that. I said ok, and I left the place. But can you imagine that? They have a bunch of sandwiches and the guy was told to throw it away instead to give it to someone who was hungry.
