Pescheria Spadari — Restaurant in Milan

This place is a disgrace to Italy and Milan. The staff were very unpleasant, treating visitors with contempt and criticizing their dish choices. This was confusing since it was their own menu. We arrived around noon, and although they should have been open for an hour according to Google, the place was empty. We wanted to sit outside, but the terrace was wrapped in plastic and air conditioning was off, making it very stuffy. We decided to sit inside but soon asked the staff to ventilate the terrace and moved back outside. Sitting inside was impossible due to a strong fish smell and the staff making loud noises with the dishes as if trying to make us leave. We were hungry and didn't have many options nearby, so we stayed, hoping the food would be good. Unfortunately, the food was below average, especially considering the high prices. They closed this restraunt three years ago once time, accuryally I don't know the fact. In this time, I found this restaurant using same name and so happy to know that they renewed. It might that they bought the past restaurant , it means the owner changed. Anyway I had big expectation to go there. The stuff is in charge of fish marcket and holle manager (it may be). He is Italian ,tried to explain about menu in English and Italy. So there were some parts I couldn't catch his words but i liked his challange. About foods, it's really good but the size was smaller than in the past. Specially, mixed frided. I had never seen the big size of mixed frided in Japan, so I was so foward to having the italian size, but the size was same Japan. I was really disappointed that. Tellement nul!!! Après une superbe semaine gastronomique à Milan nous sommes allés dîner dans ce restaurant/poissonnerie à quelques pas de notre hôtel car avec 3 enfants en bas âge et une météo terrible nous souhaitions faire simple. Autant vous dire que nous aurions mieux fait de marcher 30 minutes sous une pluie battante plus tôt que de gâcher de la sorte notre dernier dîner!!

Pour commencer on nous installe sur la terrasse couverte et chauffée (jusque la tout va bien) qui sent l’urine de chat à plein nez… nous ne leur en tiendrons pas rigueur car en tant que restaurateur on ne maîtrise pas forcément ce genre de désagrément qui est je l’espère temporaire. On nous prend la commande de l’eau et des pâtes à la sauce tomate à 12€ pour le bébé! 3 autres tables arrivent dans les 20 minutes et jusqu’à ce qu’elles reçoivent leurs plats plus personne n’est venu nous voir ou prendre notre commande!! on finit par appeler le serveur incompétent et désagréable pour commander le vin et éventuellement les plats ce qu’il « fait » mais qui 15 minutes plus tard ne revient toujours pas avec les boissons (autant dire que les autres tables étant en train de dîner il n’avait rien d’autre à faire vu qu’aucun autre client n’est arrivé entre temps…), nous l’appelons une deuxième fois et il avait en fait oublié notre commande de boissons… pas cool après 45 minutes d’attente mais passons… Les plats arrivent enfin, pâtes à la langouste pas trop mal, fritto-misto congelé (alors que nous avions commandé un mix grill de poissons à 25€ ce qui nous semblait être une valeur sûre dans une poissonerie) passable mais beaucoup trop cher et le pire fut les 2 tentacules de poulpe coupées en deux annoncées croustillantes qui était surtout bouillies (on sait qu’il est indispensable de bouillir le poulpe avant de le servir!!) et recuites dans une huile au goût de brûler, et servi avec une cuillère mauvais houmous écrasée et badigeonnée de fromage blanc caillé bref nous ne l’avons pas mangé. Nous nous en sommes tirés pour 2 adultes et 3 enfants (entre 1 an et 8 ans) pour 182€ et une soirée minable!!
