Ok, lets start with the positives! The English league football memorabilia and collection of framed shirts is impressive in the sense of how random is seems to be. I mean they had a framed Dag & Red scarf in there, love it! Additionally, the shrine to both Milan clubs, which also matches the side of the stadiums they sit on is well thought out and presented. The menu item names are very fun, and it was the only location on my 10 day trip around Italy that had Neck Oil on tap. However, it was also not only the worst food I experienced on my 10 day trip in Italy, it was also the worst meal I can remember ever being served as an adult. I was getting a bit homesick and really fancied an English Breakfast the day we visited this place. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest insult to a traditional English breakfast I have ever witnessed. The bacon was cheap and mostly fat, the “scrambled egg” was a reheated burnt omelette, the sausage I wouldn't even feed to my dog, and the beans… the easiest part, just open a Heize can, were absolutely vile. Appeared to maybe be “homemade”, however sat in more of an oil, than an actual sauce, and tasted horrible. The side toast was also burnt, and a side of wedges tasted of disinfectant, in the same way that the glasses smelt. Another major issue with this place however is it’s vibe. It’s very dark, very dusty & stuffy, and the waiter who I would guess may also be the owner just seemed to lack any kind of care of enthusiasm for the business and felt very unapproachable. I can only assume it is also due to people having similar experiences to us locally, and never coming back, hence why we were the only people there. This place has serious potential in that it appears to be the only UK food spot in Milan! However, it needs an injection of life, a decor update, and good clean, and a new chef, otherwise it’ll be gone before too long. Forgot to also add that we were charged €4,50 for a Sprite that would otherwise cost 70 cents, disgraceful!

I've been to many football pubs, but I don't think "The Football Pub" in Italy fits the name. Yes, it has football shirts on the walls and an English vibe, but it's not great for watching a game. The TVs are small and placed high up, there's loud music instead of the game's sound, and the seats are placed more for chatting than watching the game. It's more of a normal pub than a "football pub". The service here is great though, and they do have a lot of good beers, which is a plus.

Big game...ac v bologna...match commentary not turned on...post match analysis switched off...a small number of english speakers enjoyed the game but uhm, not really the football pub experience we had hoped for...but maybe thats the way it is with most sports bars here...? Not a big venue, but the beer was good...overall 3 outa 5

Please avoid this bar at all costs. There are so many amazing bars in Milan, head there instead! The man on the door is unwelcoming and aggressive in tone and demeanour. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

We arrived to watch the England v France World Cup game at half time only to have the bouncer refuse to let us in, aggressively shouting it was “too busy”. Given the space inside the bar was visible, with plenty of room spare, we were all perplexed to see there was still ample room in the bar (we have since read other peoples’ reviews and it seems he chooses who to allow in without rhyme or reason). We were happy to stand in the corner to watch the game, but he proceeded to become even more hostile, raising his voice aggressively and not explaining why he wouldn’t let us in to watch the game. We asked to speak to the manager, but he claimed he was, in fact, the manager of the bar too. As he had become significantly hostile and aggressive towards us, we felt intimidated and retreated to the street to safety. Despite now being outside of the bar on the public curb side, he continued to approach us, swearing and shouting aggressively and demanding we leave not only the bar, but the entire street. Bizarrely, he also started asking whether we were educated, possibly a tactic to intimidate and make us feel inferior. We are four young women and the whole experience left us upset and shaken up.

As an aside, no pub in England is like this: you’ll always be welcome in an...

Overall, you get to watch football, however, if there was any competition in the area, I would try somewhere else.

To start with the positives. This is one of only a handful of places you can watch British football near Duomo and it offers a decent atmosphere as it's quite small.

Like a few of the other reviews I also found the tapped beer to be a few degrees too warm and are better getting a bottle from the fridge, particularly the red Peroni.

On the downside it's quite a dirty pub and toilets are scarily unkempt. When at the bar to get a coke for my son, they clean the glasses as you ask for your drink, but they pulled one out that still had about a centimeter of the dirty basin water, which I poured out before returning to my table.

My son enjoyed his Pizza but the meat I got in my focaccia was off, they took it away with me only having a bite out it. I didn't find it worth mentioning as it was that busy and only cost a few euros, plus the staff didn't...
