Le Tre Gazzelle — Restaurant in Milan

The food is below mediocre and the management is rude, publicly trying to cheat you with the bill. We went there with 4 friends, ordered panini and a risoto. They served me a pre-heated undercooked risotto. I politely explained to the manager that the rise is still hard and it cannot be eaten like that and I handed him te plate. He replied “This is the only type I have” and offered to change it. I did so with a panini. When we started to settle the bill the manager refused to remove the risotto from the bill and substitute it with the actual panini and insisted that I need to pay for a risotto, not for a panini because “You ordered a risotto, right, then you pay for a risotto! It is not my fault you don’t like it!?” The price difference was negligible, but the mere fact that he insisted I pay for it, given it was not cooked, was unacceptable! After I explained to him that this is not going to happen( we paid for 5 panini by the cent) he made a scene in front of all clients and started to push me to get out of my chair and leave. While we were leaving he was repeating “Next time I will not change it” and I asked “ Do you honestly believe that there will be a next time for me, my friends or any of the clients that are witnessing your behavior?”. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable service! Stay out...

Awful restaurant! I was at this restaurant today and encountered incredibly arrogant and rude staff with a lack of any kind attitude towards the customer. We sat down with friends at a table, having taken an ice cream from inside, we wanted to consume drinks and make a big bill again, but the waiter tried to kick us out because we had taken the ice cream from inside, and compared to him, it's nothing like the establishment, as you take something from inside, you can't sit at the table, even if you order something to drink at the table, which for me in a European city is unacceptable as a customer attitude. After we started asking why he wanted to kick us out of the table, he got angry and called another man who moved our table to the street and so we were left with only the chairs in the restaurant, and our tables were moved to the pedestrian area by a waiter. There followed verbal abuse on their part and an extreme disappointment on our part. I had a terrible time at this restaurant, not because of the food, but because of the staff. Instead of having a good time and being happy, we left very disappointed and in a bad mood. There was also a 6-year-old child in our company who witnessed all this horror and the arrogant attitude...

After a long shopping tour in Milan, we wanted to treat ourselves on a refreshment and stopped over at "Le Tre Gazelle". On recommendation of one of the waiters inside we went downstairs and quickly found a spot. The menu card followed swiftly. After that ... nothing ... nothing and nothing ... the two waitresses obviously had decided it was time not to serve but rather elegantly ignore customers and instead started to clean the floor, plus the waste bin which had been emptied on the restaurant floor in order to bring it all together with a broom. Guests were obviously eating close by. Disgusting! We do live in Milan for quite some time, but this is probably the worst experience I have had so far. Unfortunately Le Tre Gazelle do not need to treat their customers according to the price level of their place. The tourists will be coming in anyway ... so why bother. It is a real shame for the Italian reputation of restaurants and the excellent food that usually comes with it. I can only recommend to skip this Bar or whatever it is and go to any other place next door. For us it was a very unpleasant experience. We left the restaurant after some time ... did anybody bother?...
