Went for the ‘All you can eat’ was extremely disappointed after searching for authentic Indian restaurants in Milano, I should have realised when I noticed ethnic Indians ordering ‘onion rings’
Indian Restaurant?????? Really? Certo???
After my visit to the dentist one evening I thought let’s try it 🤗
Taken the 2 chicken tikka for starters and the tandoori. Looks promising 😁 2 Tikka (one of each type) we were in 2 people so no fuss we cut them in half and shared then ordered double
Starter seemed exciting but we had to share 1 piece of chicken 😓 and the tandoori chicken was just the leg 😢
Now we realised the portion size is small I ordered 3x the quantity 🤩
Ordered the Daal as I have not had it for a long time 😱 It arrived and it was awful (look at the yellow pictures) it was thin and runny and if lentils were in the recipe I could not see any, just runny slop.
I could be here forever carrying on but I noticed the whole ‘all you can eat menu ‘ on the chicken is all based on 1 piece of chicken that they use in the starter 😄
The first all you can eat restaurant in the world to have made an 80% profit as I could not eat any further then the 1st round.
Jamens should be served hot in syrup, had to send it back twice for them to microwave.
Watery curries that taste bland, seems they have no idea how to make a curry sauce reduction ( you simmer it 🤣)
I am sure they have no idea how to make Roti which is meant to be Thin, ours was thick and undercooked as they made it too thick and the cheese naan!!! 😱 they put a slice of processed cheese in the middle which is disgusting.
I know in Italy the Indian authentic food is different from India and the rest of the world as you have difficulty with the spices as I have had this experience from different regions and when I complain I am told ‘this is how Italy likes it’
Even when you look at the reviews.

Read moreI'll suggest You should try. We tried few proper Indian dishes namely 'Carne thali- Agnello'(4/5), Biriyani Agnello(5/5), Malai Gamberi(2/5), Pollo Tandoori(4.5/5). Ambience and location is very good. Feels actual Indian. Staff are well behaved, smiling and helpful, can be a little careful about watching their own show/mobile bit loudly. Food was quite well (except Malai Gamberi). Best thing is you can ask to control spice; more spice or less, as per your choice!
Carne thali consisted of many things, couple fried snack(samosa-lentil fry-papad-some battered fry), riso pudding(Payasam), 3 piece of pollo tandoori(1 piece each of 3 type), riso, naan, agnello curry etc. I felt the riso and naan portion was a bit less (for me though) in the thali (one/one-and-half cup of rice and 2 naans). Agnello curry was great, fantastic cooked and proper indian taste. I seldom get this kind of lamb curry in abroad.
Again, Lamb/agnello biriyani was fantastic, lamb was cooked properly and good size portion. And the Ghee (kind of Indian butter) smell made my day!
Coming to the disaster, Malai Gamberi!! The Gamberi was good and cooked well, the only reason I gave 2/5 to this dish! The curry was basically tasteless! It should be sweet and creamy, but moreover it was less salt and without any taste!
Pollo tandoori was quite good, portion was not so value for price, but I dont have much complaint! Try with the 3 types of chatni they provide, feels good!
Overall, a...
Read moreWe went there on 5th April for dinner. We ordered some Indian food, the quantity was less as per the price but the taste was good.We had usd and swiss frank as we came directly from Switzerland and thought that they would accept frank/usd.The person in black and white attire was extremely rude, when we asked him to accept swiss frank as we had no euros at that time.Initially he denied to accept it and behaved weirdly blabbering what to do with you now,I cant give you change and I cant take this currency, you give me euros only but later after the intervention of another staff from karnataka he accepted it aggressively. Would definitely not recommend it to anyone, as this place is not tourist friendly and rather then helping us and finding a solution, he embarrassed us infont of other customers. Would like to thank the sweet staff from karnataka as he came forward to help us.People like you represent India abroad.Thank you for your kindness. And the person in black and white attire you should learn something from him Would not visit again because of this...
