Hachè — Restaurant in Naples

Owned by a bully. I feel compelled to warn people not to go here. I am 7 months pregnant and it is 34 degrees outside. We are seated by a waiter, then ignored for about 20+ minutes before he asked if we would like to order drinks. We asked for 2 bottles of water which took another 10 mins to arrive. We then waited for another 20 mins to get anyone’s attention to order our food, the waiters were incredibly rude and dismissive and ignored us and took orders from tables around us while blatantly ignoring us. We decided to leave as we were so hot and I was incredibly uncomfortable as so heavily pregnant. While my boyfriend is paying for the water inside. The rude owner comes up to the table and leans into my personal space, he lectures me very aggressively about how this is a restaurant and not a bar and how I should have ordered food. I tried to explain that we wanted food but I was too uncomfortable to wait for so long after a large table of 10 people had ordered before us despite being seated before them. The second my partner returns to the table, this terrible owner changed his tone and began being polite saying how we didn’t need to pay for the water. This place is horrific. The food looks rank and place has no customer service or hospitality. Also the menu is not authentic but totally embarrassing. So many reports of food poisoning too so PLEASE AVOID. WORST...

I would not suggest going here unless you or someone you are with speaks Italian. My husband and I were greeted by a friendly enough host and were sat relatively quickly. We then sat at our table for over 10 minutes before anyone came to us. After we eventually got menus, we ordered some water. Another 10 minutes later the waiter came over and abruptly asked "Ready?", we then asked for our water again only to wait another 5-10 minutes for it. It was busy and we, as rational people, can understand and would have been more then happy to sympathize with that, but as we sat waiting for any basic customer service we watched a couple next to us, who had been seated after us, receive drinks, bread, and more then a second of attention from the staff. We drank our water, the whole bottle, and after no one had come in that time we left. I understand that it was blatantly obvious that we were not from there, but by no means were we rude or ignorant about not speaking the language. At the end of the day, our money was just as good as anyone else, yet we were denied any...

Just don’t go. There are plenty of other options to choose from if you eat during heir opening times (before 3 or after 7). We went there only because we were very hungry and they were open. The weather was also dreadful so we really did not want to wander around town anymore. The service is rubbish. They were rather upset that we were there. The meal was below average in quality (a lot of their products are frozen but at least they mention it in the menu). The cherry on top was the bill. They charge copperto (as usual) and on top they included 15% (15%!!!!!) service fee. For nothing. We were super angry as the service would be worth way less than the usual 10%. The menu is not well explained and when you ask what is a “xyz hachè) their explanation is “a xyz hachè...
