Located along the Riviera di Chiaia, surrounded by numerous restaurants, this spot offers a nice bay view. The décor features red roses and teddy bears pressed into the ceiling, creating a cozy atmosphere.
The service was minimal and fairly standard. For example, the waiter opened the water bottle but didn’t pour it for us. Additionally, we were asked to go inside and pay at the cashier instead of having the payment processed at the table.
The food was fresh and decent, but nothing stood out enough to make us eager to return. Prices were in line with other restaurants in the area, and there was a cover charge (coperto) of €3 per person.
We ordered: 3*Bruschetta con Pomodorini: Simple and fresh, nothing fancy.
4*Spaghetti con Polipetti alla Luciana: Spaghetti with octopus in Luciana style. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was flavorful, though a bit heavy and salty. Still, I’d recommend it.
3*Spaghetti alle Vongole: Spaghetti with clams. The pasta was a bit undercooked for my taste, too al dente, but the clams were fresh. The dish was prepared with olive oil and parsley, offering a mild, authentic taste.
I wouldn’t mind returning for the view and to try...
Read moreWe were 5 people and wanted to order a coffee and a dessert for each of us. The manager told us that we cant sit outside when we dont order a main dish, so we left. A few minutes later another server approached us and “allowed “ us to sit outside. The place was half empty. They didnt have the dessert from the menu and therefore we just ordered a coffee each. When we received the bill, I questioned why they charges us 4 euro for each coffee instead of 3 euro as per the menu. The manager (from the beginning) told us that there is a extra charge for sitting outside and drinking “coffee only”. Their attitude was terrible and no wonder they only have a 3 star ratio here. The location would be awesome with a nice ocean view. I recommend to the owners to change...
Read moreAvoid!! The worst service in Naples. Waiter was a con artist - I asked for the bill for 2 Cokes, and the waiter just tapped my card into the machine without telling me how much it was, and didnt give me a receipt. Obviously I have a bank app on my phone which immediately notified me of a €10 purchase. Maybe if this was the poshest bar in Naples it would cost me this much, but despite the good location, this is not the poshest bar in Naples. If I had had a truly lovely service, maybe I would have tipped him that much to make the bill €10 for two Cokes. I confronted the waiter for doing this and he just dismissed me. Truly a tourist...
