Vesù by Sano Sano — Restaurant in Naples

I recently had a highly disappointing experience at Sano Sano and I feel compelled to share my encounter to warn others about their questionable business practices. It is disheartening to witness a restaurant resorting to deceitful tactics to make an extra buck.

Upon placing my order, I specifically requested the removal of a particular dish. The particular dish Rigatoni ala Ragu was made with no ragu wich ok if the recipe was like that. I wish the waitress had informed me.However, when the bill arrived, the waterer said that they had made a sconto and I thank him. After I paid and checked the receipt I was shocked to find that I had been charged for the dish that was supposed to be removed. This incident left me feeling cheated and betrayed as a customer.

In conclusion, my experience was marred by their attempt to charge me for a dish that was removed from my order. Their dishonest practices and lack of accountability have left a sour taste in my mouth, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an honest and enjoyable...

The worst NYE dinner we ever had.

We had spent a great nye in Italy before in Roma, and we thought that if we put the price (around 150 euros per person like everywhere in the cities) we could have a nice time again. We were wrong. The food and alcohol was plentiful but only just palatable, the music and ambiance tacky and loud, some (not all) of the waiters unfriendly: it feld like a factory. We were not the only tables to send back their plates half full. This experience was like dining in a cantina, not better than an Olive Garden in the US ; that is OK for 20 euros but for that price and for a party, this is just unacceptable. That is the second time we felt scammed in Napoli, I guess it will not...

Was there for dinner. Had the octupus, panacotta with white chocolate and one of the red wines they sell by glass. The food was delicious and the service nearly perfect. The red wine was drinkable, but not a manifestation. They just forgot to sell up, asking for additional drinks, etc. The only thing I need to mention in a room for improvement way, is the bread they serve. It was cut in slices hours ago and therefor already a bit dry. Maybe they can change this or the way they store it. Recommend this place if you like nice food and are not hunting for the biggest portions. Service fee is 10%.
