This was a wonderful surprise of a tiny restaurant, which I ate at every night for a week. I enjoyed the outdoors of the restaurant more than the indoors. You can make a reservation which guarantees you a table (indoor or outdoor). I enjoyed practicing my Italian with the staff, and they were kind in helping me!

Some locals eat here and some tourists. Most people dined here multiple times, and to my knowledge, this is the only restaurant in Vezio. For a comparison, I ate in many restaurants in Varenna and other towns in the Lake Como area. Although the food portions were larger in Varenna and other towns, the service was much better here. I was never treated disrespectfully as a "tourist", which happened consistently in other areas. If you are a tourist, be aware this is a tourist area, so prices comparatively higher in the Lake Como area as a standard.

People that walk up to Vezio also enjoy grabbing a snack, a fruit smoothie, or an adult beverage, as this is the first place they come to after climbing the steep 20 min. climb from Varenna.

I'd like to thank the owners, who took time to talk to me, other couples, and families, showing kindness by asking about our days and being friendly. That's the true spirit of being Italian, and...

It very Bad Restaurant with really nonprofessional service and toxic attitude. They have problem with WC (5 Personen was waiting to use WC for 15 min time) , thats why they forbidden families with children to use WC, because they make a long queue and make only troubles (so said waitress). We Were there on Eastern time, there was no place for dinner, only drink they don't serve also.

Thats why Waitress kicked us out, and was very rude.

Unacceptable service. My husband and I wanted to order lunch for our very hungry 2 year old daughter. We also orderd 1 drink per person and a meal for my husband. We were refused service because I didn't want to eat anything and they only accept patrons who order one meal per person. We were sitting in an otherwise empty restaurant, so we weren't blocking a table from other higher paying patrons. Very disappointing and not family friendly. In a tiny village without other food options nearby...
