Osteria Alla Goccia really impressed us with their low prices but delicious meals. I ordered some orange juice, bruschetta with garlic and olive oil, and spaghetti al pesto. My girlfriend got 0.25L of red wine, shared the bruschetta, and the Peposo al Chianti Vallorsi which is a beef stew with pepper and tomatoes. Everything was delicious and my girlfriend savored every bite of the beef stew. The cherry on top is that this restaurant is located away from the leaning tower of Pisa making it WAY LESS busy and chaotic then those closer to the tower. We always look for a smaller local restaurant away from the tourist crowd. As one of us spoke Italian fluently we just asked a local guy picking up his scooter for a tip. So we ended up here after a little walk away from the tower of Pisa. We were not disappointed. Swift and friendly service (even though not smiling) and very nice food.
