Cabullo — Restaurant in Rome

BE CAREFUL Response: they served 4 sandwich with pork and nothing else and made us pay 9 euros instead of 7, when we realised we came back the next day to complain and they said it was more expensive because it had cheese (which is NOT TRUE because my friend is allergic to lactose) also we did not order extra cheese so there was no reason to add cheese for 2 euros each, and they cannot add extra without consent. they say they do not want to respond/ speak to us because they say we were drink. First of all, we were 4 girls the first night and 7 girls the next night (never 3). The first night is when we bought the sandwiches for a fake price at 4am (later we saw that they were illegally open) and we came from a party (we had drinks but this does not justify the treat and the lies. The next night we came back to express our dissapointment because we realised we overpaid, they gave us no solution, it was about 11pm and we did not have 1 drink (I should not have to explain this). They said they would check the cameras and we waited for a long time and they did not solve anythin, PLUS they were incredibly rude to us and made my friend cry. After all, we have taken legal action for the treatment and for speaking to us as if we were passed out. There are more comments about them giving higher prices to foreigners and their response is allways agressive and rude. And also, truly, the sandwich was awful and that is why we questioned the price

Nos han timado y nos han cobrado más por el bocadillo, cuando hemos ido a reclamarlo nos han respondido de malas maneras y gritando, he hablado con el camarero en italiano y el no ha querido hablar conmigo por ser extranjera. No nos ha solucionado la situación y nos ha hablado muy mal. Además los sándwiches son muy muy caros para la calidad que dan, están muy secos y no vienen ni con patatas fritas.

Ci hanno fregato e ci hanno fatto pagare di più il panino, quando siamo andati a lamentarci ci hanno risposto in malo modo e urlando, ho parlato con il cameriere in italiano e non ha voluto parlare con me perché ero straniera. Non ha risolto la situazione e ci ha parlato molto male. Anche i panini sono molto cari per la qualità che offrono, sono molto secchi e non sono nemmeno accompagnati da patatine.

I recently visited Cabullo, a burger place in Rome, and I have to say, I was extremely disappointed. Not only were the burgers cold and lacking in flavor, but the woman at the front of the restaurant was unbelievably rude to both customers and the chef.

From the moment I walked in, the woman's demeanor was unpleasant and unwelcoming. She practically threw the menu at me and gave me a scowl when I asked a question about the ingredients. Her behavior was unprofessional and made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her.

But the worst part came when I witnessed her berating the chef in front of customers. She was shouting at him and criticizing his cooking, which made everyone in the restaurant uncomfortable. It was clear that the chef was doing his best, but the woman's attitude made it impossible for him to work efficiently.

As for the food itself, the burgers were cold and lacked any real flavor. They tasted like they had been sitting out for hours, and I couldn't even finish mine. It was clear that the kitchen staff was not able to work to their full potential due to the woman's unprofessional behavior.

Overall, I would not recommend Cabullo to anyone looking for a decent burger in Rome. The woman at the front ruined the entire experience with her rude and unprofessional behavior, and the food was subpar at best. Save your money and go...

Such a disappointment! I went there expecting amazing food and service based on the reviews and it was horrendous. The owner (staff informed me who he was)beyond rude. I went to place my order and he stood in front of me as to block me from ordering (I didn’t know he was the owner at the time) and when I went to to the cooler to get a bottle of water , and I said excuse me because it is a right space inside , he rudely told me to wait. On top of that, when I told him he was extremely rude, instead of apologizing he used an expletive.Wow!

I was informed by the staff that he is rude to them as well. Such a shame.

The food was blah to say the least. I had the pulled chicken sandwich that lacked flavour and the dressing they used had an overpowering vinegar taste. Only good thing was the fresh bun.

Don’t patronize this establishment as the owner doesn’t value the customer, the food is not that good, and there are over a million restaurants in Rome that are more deserving of pies hard...
