During our stay in Rome, we strolled through Trastevere. Along the way, we came across the gelateria "Fior Di Luna." Italy, or rather Rome, isn't complete without ice cream and pizza. So we went inside; at the machine on the left, you choose whether you want a cone or a cup and select the corresponding size, pay, and receive a receipt, which you take to the counter to choose your ice cream flavors. My flavors were hazelnut and pistachio! In my opinion, these two flavors were exceptional in taste. I would gladly give 10 stars for them. The price of the ice cream is a bit higher, but in my view, it is completely justified. Unfortunately, we were only near this gelateria one more time during our stay in Rome, but for the amazing taste, I even made a small detour just to enjoy this ice cream again....
Read moreI’m appalled by the behavior of the staff, who were rude beyond belief. I’m proud to have grown up in Rome, and so embarrassed my visitors have to experience this type of customer service. I don't know how they are producing world championship winning gelato but this place is very mid. We got strawberry, straciatella, and peach. The fruit flavors tasted more artificial than fresh, the straciatella we couldn't even finish, maybe the worst we've had in Rome. Not the most important part to me but the service was not very friendly. They got the order wrong and overcharged us and made to effort to fix it. Try Fatamorgana instead for...
