I know it's a cliché to be in Italy and expect fresh pizza dough. We had this expectation though, as so far we only have had fresh ones (or at least it looked and tasted like it). Whether we were in a tourist area or not, this was the one thing that never disappointed. Until that day, in that cafe.
These "pizzas" were horrendous. The dough had zero taste whatsoever, and let's not even talk about the toppings. I DO NOT recommend the carbonara or bolognese "pizza" (or any tbh). I ate better ones in France, this is how bad this was. PIZZAS in FRANCE.
This was extremely disappointing to pay 13 euros for a frozen "pizza" and toppings that were barely there and had zero taste. Probably pre made too and chucked on the frozen dough. We paid less for pizzas that were worth the name. This wasn't.
Absolute tourist trap, to out such price for something that is worth than half of it. I do not recommend this place at all for "pizzas".
And it's extremely cramped inside. It is no one's fault, but being bumped on every minute gets tiring really fast.

Read moreFrom the moment I entered, it was clear that the restaurant was poorly managed. The lack of space made maneuvering around a challenge, and I had to constantly stand up to accommodate others leaving their tables.
The service was abysmal. Despite repeatedly asking for a menu, I had to wait an excessively long time to receive one. This initial frustration set the tone for the rest of the evening.
The pizzas I ordered, a staple of Italian cuisine, were far from satisfactory. I had to wait for an hour... They arrived with an unappetizing hardness and lacked the necessary sauces, resulting in a dry and flavorless experience. It was the worst pizza I have ever had.
In conclusion, my dining experience at this restaurant was a letdown. The lackluster service, subpar food, and uncomfortable seating arrangement made it a forgettable evening. I would not recommend this establishment to those seeking an enjoyable culinary adventure in Rome. There are far better options available...
Read moreCame here with my partner and overall the experience was okay, but I won’t come back.
We ordered a croque monsieur and also a sandwich, both served with a side sandwich and we also ordered two cappuccino.
What we liked was the salad was very fresh, however everything else was mediocre. The pricing is good/okay for what it is near a tourist attraction, but I was not impressed. The cappuccino, was not worth it, would recommend that you try something else.
What I find particularly unpleasant was the experience. The staff was nice, but the experience was rushed. Within 1-2 minutes of sitting down, we got asked are you ready, what would you like. When asked for a bit more time, someone came back within a minute to push for a drink order. And then pushed for a food order (restaurant was not busy, so there is truly no rush).
Before we leave, another table experienced the same. The staff is nice don’t get me wrong but the way we were approached made us feel like we need...
