Caffè San Clemente — Restaurant in Rome

I liked it here and personally think that his restaurant is a find if you set your expectations appropriately, that is if you don't expect five star food and Ritz quality service. This is not to say that the food is bad, it isn't, its actually very good and the servers do a very good job, all things considered. Considering what? If you consider that the prices here are low and consequently there are tons of cheapskate tourists who leave no tip but demand highest quality of service, I'm not surprised that the waiters are a bit sour, they have every right to be. My experience here was excellent. Inexpensive house wine that's very passable and hearty Italian food that's excellent after a day of exhausting walking around town. I wouldn't order a steak here because we're not in the outback, this is Italy. Order an antipasto, a soup and a secondo piatto with some coffee to finish it off and you should come away well...

Idk what everyone is complaining abt…..the food wasn’t Gordon Ramsey level or anything but it was pretty good! We got the pizza ortalano and bruschetta; they seem to have quite a few vegetarian options for pasta and pizza. The service was pretty good, idk if they have improved or smth but they were pretty quick and the waiter (Bangladeshi) spoke pretty good English. The reviews had me skeptical at first but it was pretty good, def better than 3.2 stars. Atmosphere was nice, we went around 6 pm in late July and it was pleasant outdoor seating. Inside there is AC if u want that. Overall a decent place esp for the price (10 euros per persons). Would def recommend and don’t trust...

I had ordered marinara pizza, ravioli pasta creme coffee, spaghetti and some penne pasta. It was mostly tomato paste, the flavour was good as it was tangy but overall just 1 type of flavour throughout the meal. I would recommend adding a zing to the dishes by providing garlic drizzles or oregano and chilli flakes drizzles, it would make pizza taste good. The food was good, the best part was the creme coffee, it was very tasty. I would give 7 / 10 for my food...
