Gino Bar — Restaurant in Rome

Our accommodation (holiday rental) was right around the corner from Gino, so we went here in the morning for a cappuccino and maybe a pastry. We ordered our drinks and enjoyed them standing at the bar. My mother paid 2.70€ for a danish and cappuccino. I just love Gino's bar! Your local Italian Bar/Café to have anything you could want: pistaccio croissants, coffee, really good italian lunch (ravioli, fresh seasonal vegetables... - basically something ele than what you get in all restaurants). Pretty much only local office workers go there (just my impression). Amazing, friendly, cheerful atmosphere

Not sure why there are negative ratings. The staff was incredibly gracious to this gauche American who does not speak Italian. The cappuccino was amazing as are the sandwiches. The price is incredibly low for the quality here. I visited multiple times when I stayed at The Aleph Hilton...
