We had such a wonderful experience at this charming Greek restaurant in Rome! From the moment we walked in, we felt like part of the family. We were a large party, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of. Roberta, the owner and our host for the evening, was truly the heart of the experience. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made our night unforgettable.

We all ordered pork and chicken gyros, and they were absolutely delicious. I personally loved the chicken—it was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—but everyone at the table raved about both options. You can really taste the care and authenticity in every bite.

If you’re in Rome and craving authentic Greek food with outstanding service, this family-owned gem is...

A delightful restaurant serving Greek food in the heart of Rome. We have eaten here three times in 5 days. Delicious, authentic food, the lamb skewers and pork souvla were great and came with salad, chips, tzatziki and pitta. The pork gyros was really tasty. Portions were very big. The service was superb, the waitress even advised us to avoid certain starters to avoid doubling up with some of the elements of the main course. She packed up a bag of leftovers. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and nicely decorated in blue and white. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend. We will return again for sure. If you like Greek food try eating here if you are...

We tried a little escape from pizza and pasta. This was our second Greek restaurant ever, last one was 10 years ago in Amsterdam. We arrived early and were the firsts, 7pm, but it filled up quite quickly with locals speaking both italian and even heard some greek. We were eager to try the dishes but also worried about dishes that kids would like. It was all delicious. Plates were generous and very savoury. Staff was helpful, like advising us to not order Tzatziki as appetizers as it was already included in a second dish we ordered. Unfortunatelly we did not take desserts as kids...

We were visiting Rome for the weekend and found the restaurant, Ippokrates, closes to our bed and breakfast so we thought we would give it a try. And they did not disappoint us at all! The food was great!! We think it was the best Greek food we had so far in Italy. Staffs are nice and it and, service is great. We tried the house menu. It was for 2 to share and you will be about perfectly full. We would definitely go back if we visited Rome again.
