The owner is extremely rude and discriminatory, especially to anyone who looks Asian.

I’ve never left a negative review before, but I’ve never felt so uncomfortable and such blatant discrimination. Genuinely the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Please do not support such a discriminatory establishment, or have to go through this unkindness.

[UPDATE: Look at his response to me & others before he removes it - immediately sends insults (“you must be from a terrible country, you are insecure and weak hearted”, “hahaha” to the discrimination part). I don’t understand how someone can lack such manners and respect, and say such unkind, ignorant things. ]

He ignored our group despite the restaurant being empty, choosing to serve the other customers instead. Then after serving everyone else behind us, he pointed at a table and left us alone.

The food was extremely salty or too bland. Didn’t enjoy it, but even still, we ate it and were trying to stay positive. However, the extreme disrespect we later experienced made me feel really uncomfortable and ruined my mood.

We didn’t say anything and continued being respectful, and were eating our dishes when new customers came in. The owner immediately pointed at our faces while we were eating, saying they will be done in 3 minutes. We hadn’t even started our soup… there were also other available smaller tables. Then they immediately started clearing our placemats and utensils while we were eating.

Please avoid if you are any person of color! I’ve never faced such disrespect and discrimination, anywhere in Italy or elsewhere in the world. The other waitstaff were very kind, but the owner’s discrimination and mistreatment made the whole experience sour and...

Yes I am a tourist and yes I have been to a few high rating restaurants which turned out to be huge disappointments and believe me, this is not one of those as they don’t have tons of reviews nor have any ads on the billboard outside of the metro/tube/subway.

To be honest, I wasn’t having high expectations to the decorations, the food or the services at this establishment due to my restaurant experience at Roma.

I am pleasantly surprised by the food, the decorations and the services at this little restaurant.

Food wise, a lot of veggies in the fried shrimp udon and fried beef noodles. At €5.5, you have properly cooked beef noodle with lots of veggie served in a fancy dish and the noodle itself was not greasy and quite tasty, with very decent portion. The hot and sour soup was also delicious and perfect.

Environment and decoration wise, they have a lot of plants and greens which are heaven to my eyes and although the toilet was not fancy, it was very clean!

If I have to be picky, I would say the following areas are worth noting.

  1. the mixed greens/vegetables dish was a combination of carrots, cucumber and shitaki mushroom. I was expecting more like green leaf vegetables such as water spinach, Chinese cabbage.

  2. the rice was a bit hard.

All in all, I would say this is a great little restaurant with good food serve at very competitive price and excellent portion. Great environment and friendly staffs.

I would definitely recommend this place.

FYI, bill came at €24 for 2 adult and 1 child with...

The cashier was extremely rude to us and to other people in the restaurant. He told us he is charging us to sit at the table, and we said okay, then we will just get it to go. Then he told some other customers they couldn't sit together. They had to sit apart when there was plenty of room for them all to sit together. I waited for 10 minutes for my food, and when no one came in, I sat back down. After watching them literally just put hot water on something in a cup. He brought me my food.. that was mine. The guy then literally shooed me off with the hand out the door as if I was a problem customer or bum. I'm not sure if it's because we only wanted hot soup. Or what, but the guy was SO rude. And I got a spoon while waiting... then noticed he didn't put one in my bag when I asked him for another one he got an attitude and said, "You already got one!" It was for me AND my husband. It's a spoon. You already asked us to leave. Basically, now you're giving me grief about a spoon?? Then his nasty self touched it with the glove he was touching everything else with! Food. The tables, the ordering tablet, the phone. This guy is SO rude to his customers and on top of ALL this. The food was disgusting 🫣 😒 what a disaster. Please 🙏 please people. Do...

Passed by, menu looked intriguing so we popped in for a light lunch. Ordered rice cake, rice and noodles. 3 plates between 4 ppl. Delicious. Didn't take too long to serve. However the service was appalling. I asked if they had WiFi but the Chinese waiters refused. We ordered 3 plates and was just given 1 serving spoon so I asked for 2 more. The Chinese waiter gave us one more and insulted us never gave us another 1. They charge 1 euro table cover. Go for good food but don't expect good service. Following the 'owners' response, I'm giving zero stars for the service. That response is appaling for someone who owns a food restaurant. How can offering wifi and giving the customer an extra spoon impact your profitability? You need to provide good service to encourage repeat business. Instead, the owner's attitude is unacceptable and mean. We've been to many restaurants in ITALY and asking for WiFi and extra cutlery is a reasonable request for a customer.
