Alice Pizza Via delle Grazie — Restaurant in Rome

I would gave them one star but I want people to get the info from my story. So I saw this very nice picture of a combo pizza on their poster, and ask the waiter how big is it, the waiter had a hard time telling us the size because he said the actual pizza is shaped like a square not like the picture which is slices. So then I ask if it is too much for 2 people and he said no it’s not too much. When the pizza arrived we were looking at 16 pieces of pizza that basically cover the table. I don’t understand how hard for the waiter to explain to his customer that there are 16 pieces of pizza and when I ask them this is not thing like the picture( I know there are differences of the shape but there are only 8 pieces on the poster), all they say is that we have 2 people and if we can’t finished it we can take it and go. At that time I realized that they know the combo it’s too much for us at the beginning but they don’t care, they just want to sell us their more expensive item on the menu. I don’t mind the price, it’s just 25 euro, it’s the feeling of been fooled that really frustrates me, and we are going to waste more than half of the food. the waiter didn’t even care about us until we try to offer our pizza to the people sitting next to us. So the good thing it’s that we are able to share our pizza to other people and don’t need to waste...

Outside of Vatican city, you can grab a bite of delicious pizza at Alice Pizza via delle Grazie. It gets busy during lunchtime. You pay by weight. They have special combo menu for like 7 euro or so and you can get more than 350g of pizza with that. You can tell how fresh all the ingredients are. This was the first time I have ever tried potato pizza and it was pretty good. They also sell sandwiches, burgers and suppli. Delicious fried rice balls with cheese and tomato stuffing in it. If you’re still hungry after that there’s Pastasschiutta next door. You can not eat inside, but they have very cute cushions outside for you to sit on the stairs. Beware of the birds trying to steal your food :) Overall, prices are quite affordable, food is really good and one can not have a problem ordering...

I went around 2pm and while we were there, there were only a couple of pizzas left.

They heated it up but not enough, so they were only warm for a bit. If you're a slow eater like me, the pizza will be completely cold in a couple of minutes and most of the pizza will not be as good. However, the tomatoes were very fresh. Very crisp pizza. Note: the eggplant pizza has no cheese, even though it looked like there was. I think a little cheese would have made it tastier.

Good for cheap takeaway, and there were even little straw mats to sit on the steps outside so you don't have to sit on the ground. I give the pizza a 3/5 rating.

I didn't take a photo of the pasta, but the truffle and mushroom one was good! For their pasta, I give it an extra star...
