My words are directed to all the tourists who visit Rome. Just avoid that restaurant.. We had the worst experience of our 4-day trip to Rome. I really felt that they fooled with us. I visited that restaurant after having a look on the ratings and comments here on Google and on Trip advisor. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We asked for three dishes. 1)spinach ravioli with ricotta, burrata, cherry tomatoes and fresh basil cream, 2) Tonarelli with mixed sea food and 3) La Campagnola (mixed salad with grilled vegetables and gorgonzola cheese). They brought us 1) 6 ravioli filled with cheese (nothing to do with spinach ravioli) with a small amount of ricotta (same small was the amount of basil cream) and without any cherry tomatoes... 2) Tonarreli with 10 mussels (the majority of them were empty probably because of overboiling) and 1 shrimp cut in 2 pieces (head and trunk)...not a "mixed sea-food" pasta.... But the worst experience was the 3rd dish...At first, they brought as a wrong salad (mixed salad with olives, sun dried tomatoes and onion). Immediately we realized it then we mentioned it to the service and asked for a replacement with the right one. After 10 minutes, they came back with the same salad, on the top of which, they had added, cold (maybe many hours earlier grilled) vegetables and gorgonzola, without removing olives and sun dried tomatoes... We were struck by what they did to correct their mistake... When I reffered that to the head waiter, he almost tried to fool me, saying with apparent awkardness on his voice, that the two salads have the same base.. They tried to cover their mistake, with a lame excuse that underestimated our itelligence... When he realized that his words didnt convince me....he took the salad from our table and of course removed it from the bill, without saying even sorry or doing something else... Are we idiots and fools being young tourists in Rome? Their service absolutely made me feel like this Avoid that restaurant... Attached you will find the photos of the...
Read more--Food-- The dishes were really tasty but the portions were a bit small relative to the amount we have given(I guess that is the disadvantage of eating stuff in the capital Rome). However I was full when I got out of the restaurant. They also give fresh bread and little bread sticks like cookies. There were also balsamic sauce and extra virgin olive oil that tasted exquisite and soft(not too intense like other olive oils). I poured and ate some because I liked it soo much. You should definitely try some on the bread or on your dish if its suitable for your dish. They also serve food inside pans inside of plates so that is a nice change and gives an authentic vibe :P
--Drinks-- Their limonchello spritz was great. The cocktail had small, almost no taste of alcohol. I cannot say the same for the aperol spritz but that is because aperol has a heavier taste of alcohol inherently. It could be dealt with but it is not much of a problem. They also gave us little shots of limonchello miced and melonchello mixes. The melonchello mix was just perfect. If I had known they could make that drink, I would have definitely ordered it insted of the limonchello.
--Special Thanks--

Read moreFirstly, The service of the staff here was sensational. 10/10 - super friendly, super friendly and super knowledgeable.
We were lucky enough to be able to walk in on this evening but when we got in, people were queuing so that’s how you know it’s a great restaurant from the get go. Baring in mind they have lots of tables inside and outside! So would definitely recommend booking if you want to give this restaurant a go 😏
The atmosphere and interior was very authentic Italian. All the food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The prices were reasonable considering the portion sizes 🍝
We all had a mixture of dishes with Burrata and sun dried tomatoes to starts and bruschetta. Followed by Gnocchi, Veal, Garlic Pasta and 4 Cheese Pizza. Everyone absolutely loved their dishes, they were each so full of flavour and cooked beautifully. The smell in this restaurant was so inviting and this is literally why we chose here (and the fact they had burrata😍)
Desserts were Tiramisu and Chocolate ‘Tartufo’. The tiramisu was super creamy and light but still full of flavour. The chocolate ‘tartufo’ (truffle) was basically 2 balls of ice cream but the ice cream was again so soft and the chocolate ice was...
