It was kind of blind try. We walked with my family around and were hungry. So just stopped by. Food is not bad. Besides of too salty pasta carbonara of my sister s everything else tasted nice. I had good done octopus. My mum was happy with her saltimbocca and niece had pizza calzone with ham and mozzarella and after also tiramisu. Not exceptional but nice. Problem came by paying and I also need to say its a kind of my problem of not paying enough attention as well. Bill was 124 euros. This is one of these Italian restaurant which puts in the bill charging of service. In this case 1,50 per person. That means 6 euros was already in the bill for the service. Another 6 i left as a tip. I told waitress 130 and give her 200 hundred euros and she brought a change 60 euros instead of 70. My mistake I didnt realize that in right moment. Otherwise I would immediately complain. But I didnt, just put money in my wallet, we left and only after... few blocks away I realized that in my wallet is not 50 and 20 euros but 50 and 10... And that she kept tip 16 euros without my approval. And I dont think she misheard what I said. It made me really angry need to be said. Altough it was not possible to do anything anymore. We left old town and next day left Rome. it kinda fu..d up whole experience from quite nice place. So my recommendation, food is not bad, you can try. Just be more attentive then me by bill. Or choose some other place. There are...

The lady at the front was friendly enough getting us a table and seated. But that was when it went downhill.
We signalled to her that we wanted to order, and she said a waiter will come and serve us. 5 minutes later, we got her attention again and she gave us a “nod” that we assume she was going to get someone. Another five minutes later I had to grab her attention again and explicitly say, “can you get us a waiter so we can order”. Only then did she walk to find a waiter to serve us.
When the waiter came, he took our order - no greeting or how are you. Didn’t ask if we wanted water or a drink. We had to tell him at the end, we would also like some coke.
After the food was served we signaled a waiter and said we would like the bill. He signalled with his hands (the universal bill signal), then came to collect our plates.
10 minutes later, nothing. We had to flag down another waiter to ask for the bill again and said we already asked your colleague (who by this time had disappeared somewhere else).
In summary, it was terrible service and it wasn’t a situation where the place was at capacity. Inside tables were all empty and there were plenty of waiters around… just not...
