I don't understand why is it forbidden to share a pizza? We were 4 people, and obviously 4 pizzas were too much. Asked for 2 pizza and the guy (in black suit) obnoxiously said "quadro pizza, no share" and told us the pizza was pan-size. Well, they were 10" pizza, and my mum and my brother couldn't finish it. Wasted our money on something that we don't want.
Not only that, we were initially placed in the hot secluded room, so we asked for a change. The guy sighed loudly and glanced at us like he was pissed, and we then changed to the new table. At the counter, he WRONGLY charged us and again, sighed loudly and said "you changed the table before right?" No smile, very very rude. I don't care if you were the one who read this review, but please change your attitude. Do you think we don't have enough money to pay for the food? You could have treated us as great as how you treated other italian...
Read moreMy wife and I absolutely fell in love with this place. We would class ourselves as dedicated 'foodies' and we were excited to work our way through the famous eateries in Rome. We visited many of the high profile restaurants which we felt slightly deflated by, however when we visited Non c' è Trippa pe' gatti we knew we had found our perfect spot. We went for traditional dishes and opted for bruschetta as a starter (best bruschetta we've ever had), Cacio e Pepe/Carbonara for mains (hands down the best we had in Rome) and to finish up we both went for the in house made Tiramisu which was heavenly! We chased this city to try and find a meal that would compare with this restaurant, however we just couldn't beat it. The staff were amazing and the price was exceptionally reasonable, I look forward to returning here in the...

The service was genuinely lovely, the red wine was decent, and the prices were good. My partner really enjoyed his carbonara, so perhaps I just chose the wrong dish…
I ordered the fettuccine with mushrooms and really tried to find the flavours in the sauce. The mushrooms did seem fresh, but the dish still lacked salt, depth and flavour, really. The pasta was cooked fine, but the sauce didn’t bring anything together, I don’t think there was any salt in it even. With no other diners in the restaurant, I had hoped for a little more care in the cooking.
Being in the heart of Italy, I had higher expectations. With more seasoning and a flavourful sauce, this could be a...
