We had the set menu specially made for Christmas Eve (starters to share, gnocchetti, penne, cod and pannatonne ice cream). The meal was excellent and the dishes were prepared well - it was a highly enjoyable meal. The ambience was amazing too, with gorgeous Christmas decor around us. We received a complimentary second dessert too, which was a traditional sweet peanut snack. One issue which bothered us was that we were served later than the table beside us (who had the same meal but arrived later than us). However, we had informed the staff about this; they humbly apologised and it was promptly corrected for the subsequent dishes. Overall, this place is highly worth it for the price and it really deserves 5 stars :)

Had early dinner here after visiting the Vatican. The hostess was nice along with another female wait staff, but they had a young male staff member that came over and tried taking our plates before we finished eating! He also grabbed the bread sticks while we were finishing our drinks. As I said early dinner at 5pm and there was no one waiting for a table, there were others around us also eating or having drinks. The food was very good, my wife had ceasear salad but hates croutons, but she did try theirs and loved them. I had the pulled pork which was great, and the fried slices of potatoes were fantastic. Their mojito was very heavy on the mint, but quite nice with the heat.

We stopped by PASSPARTOUT last night for a beer, the waitress asked us would you like to dine in & with we sand NO, we would just like to have beer, she said no worries & got us sitted, later the waiter came over & told us that he wouldn’t be able to serve us because we were just having beer, so we asked him to check with the waitress who got us seated & then later going back & forth he got us the beer waiting for 10 minutes & we had to order the chicken bites along with the beer, just because we didn’t dine in they acted rude & were pretty partial with us & they added a little extra €4 on our Cheque saying it was a service charge. Absolutely disappointing

Horrible service. We had a table of 4. They forgot to place 1 dinner item with the kitchen, so we got it about 30 minutes after the other meals arrived (that is after we reminded the waitress of the forgotten meal). We then had nothing to drink so we didn’t finish our meals due to thirst. Our waitress had disappeared. We asked a cook to bring us water and still nothing came. We then asked to speak with the manger who told us it was our responsibility to hunt down our waitress to request water for our table because she was too busy serving a large party in the back part of the restaurant. The manager argued with us about it, defending the waitress for forgetting a meal or not bringing water to our table, again referencing that the waitress was busy with a large party. Do not dine here!! We left hungry and thirsty and ate elsewhere. And the fact that that manager could not own the bad service and admit a wrong made me write this review. Never do business with someone that can’t deliver on their part...

It was 10pm on a Tuesday, after a long day of touring the Colosseum and Roman Forum, plus recovering from the previous day’s trip to Pompeii and Amalfi, with two kids in tow (almost perfect kids) ——we were turned away from Ristorante Arlù. I am thankful we were. We were graciously offered a alfresco spot at Passapartout, about 50 yards from Arlu. Our charming server made us feel at home, and the food was amazing, we enjoyed a absolutely perfect dinner. His wine recommendation was spot-on. The kids shared the cheeseburger with chips, which they inhaled. My husband and I shared a delicious burrata veggie appetizer (Verdure alla brace con stracciatella di burrata - it was awesome). My husband ordered the octopus, and I ate all of the tagliolini (creamy pasta with a fantastic combination of celery and clams). A truly uniquely and genuine Italian dining experience! We can’t wait to go...
