Pescheria Rossini is an enchanting eatery and a haven for seafood lovers, offering an exquisite selection of raw and cooked appetizers, as well as uncomplicated yet mouthwatering pasta dishes that truly highlight the freshness of their catch.

A standout feature was the opportunity to handpick my main course from a captivating fish display at the entrance – a memorable touch that won me over. The heavenly, warm focaccia bread, served alongside aromatic extra virgin olive oil, simply melted in my mouth with each indulgent bite.

When I mentioned my craving for spaghetti with mixed seafood – despite it not being on the menu – the gracious head waiter made it happen, resulting in the most divine rendition I've had in Rome. The staff's genuine warmth and hospitality elevated the entire dining experience to another level.

If you find yourself in Rome with a hankering for top-notch seafood, you simply can't miss Pescheria Rossini. It offers exceptional value for money, and when I dined there on a Sunday, I couldn't help but notice the majority of patrons were locals – a surefire sign of the restaurant's authenticity and popularity.

Trust me, you don't want to miss out on this delightful culinary...

TL;DR Waiter intentionally tried to screw us over. Spend your money elsewhere.

Food was not bad, but not wow either. Ambience was practically dead but they had good piano jazz in the background.

But the main reason why this place is getting one star is because they are cheats. We ordered a dish, waiter brought us something else. When we asked why, he made up some excuse that he wanted to give us more fish because the dish we ordered didn’t have much so he gave us a standard tartar rather than the “gourmet” one.

Would have still preferred to get what I ordered but fine - if you’re going to give me the other cheaper dish because there’s more fish then fine.

Cut a long story short, bill comes, they have charged us not for the dish we ordered, and not for the cheaper dish either, but instead they made up some price and charged us even more. For a dish we didn’t order.

Really surprised as had heard good things about this place but being scammed will never leave you with a good taste in your mouth, no matter how good (or in this case average) the food is.

Overpriced average food. Would...

We know this place for more than 8 years. This time the waiter proposed to us some starters to share that should have represented the merge of 3 starters. But it resulted in 4 times the price as the waiter didn’t anticipate us that the food would be per 100 gr and not per portion. On top, oysters proposed were more expensive, their price not announced and not on the menu. Seeing such an outrageous bill we expected to have at least coffee or bread offered. But nothing. We were very disappointed by the service as we trusted the place but I don’t think we...

We were looking for a special meal for our last night in Rome and Pescheria Rossini knocked out out of the park! We started with a raw plate which was the envy of everyone around us, followed by Paccheri in a Sicilian sauce followed up with a main course of cod. Everything was unctuous, salty, luxuriously well prepared.
