From the moment we walked in, our server was incredibly welcoming and kind. Since we were traveling, we really wanted to try some of the most iconic dishes in Rome—and Victor, our amazing server, recommended the best of the best.
We started by sharing a pizza with three different flavors and a cuoppo. Everything was delicious, especially the pizza dough—it was chewy and full of flavor. We also ordered a carbonara and finished with a tiramisu for dessert.
The carbonara was absolutely phenomenal. We had tried carbonara at other places in Rome before and were disappointed… but here, we finally got to taste the real deal. The richness of the egg yolk, the kick of the black pepper, and the perfect saltiness of the bacon came together beautifully. ❤️
And the tiramisu was such a unique experience—they poured the coffee right in front of us, making it even more special!
Huge thanks to Victor who took such great care of our table ✨✨✨ Thanks to you, we’re leaving Italy with the...
Read moreIt's taken me a while to write this review but better late than never. In early August, we booked a pasta and tiramisu making class at PummaRe' during our trip to Rome and it was by far the most enjoyable experience we had whilst we were there. From the moment we arrived, the chef, greeted us warmly. He treated us to an amazing, hands on, workshop on pasta making. He got every involved and kept us entertained with interesting facts and a lot of humour. We also made tiramisu for dessert. Ricardo whisked our fresh pasta away to the kitchen to be prepared into various dishes. I picked carbonara - hands down the best carbonara I've ever had! The whole experience was really worth it. I'd highly recommend. The kids greatly enjoyed the experience too. I've written more about the experience, together with some tips around booking on my blog, Happy Bellies. Read moreThe service was extremely slow. There seemed to be only one waiter taking orders and sometimes two bringing out food. Waiter came to table to take order about 40min after we arrived, not even coming to ask about drinks first. Not once did any of them come back to ask if we wanted anything else or how the dinner was going, we had to wave at them in order to get their attention sometimes needed to get up and go inside to find them. Everyone at other tables were doing the same thing. They brought out the pizza but those who ordered pasta and a salad didn’t get their meals till about 30 minutes later. They seemed apologetic about that but didn’t make up for it an any way. Kitchen didn’t time the meals right. Luckily the Pizza was good though. Pasta ok. Tiramisù awful. The outdoor patio/atmosphere was nice. Price of everything was average for a city...
