Trattoria Micci — Restaurant in Rome

Went in a group of five, no tables inside. We accepted staying out in the cold weather. Asked for some pizzas, an antipasto, a couple of beers, and a glass of wine. In Italian, even though we're tourists. The waiter talked as fast as he could, as if he wanted to test our Italian. Brought us a bottle of wine to the table, which we had to insist multiple tables was not what was asked and not what we wanted. The waiter then proceeded to not show up outside for any orders and not bring ours. As we asked inside for a couple of times, the (supposed) manager gave us a pizza and some suppli "on the house" for the wait. And more wait, until we had been sitting for two hours and decided to leave. Then they said it was done and going to the table and again we had to complain to just pay and leave. It was the worst restaurant I ever found in Italy! Do NOT waste your time our money...

Quaint restaurant with attentive and kind wait staff. They noted food restrictions with care - much appreciated. We visited for dinner and were disappointed to learn that many items listed on the menu were not available, but the daily specials made up for this. Antipasto: meats, cheese, and grilled veggies -excellent selection, delicious prosciutto! Primi piatti: salad, gnocchi with four cheeses - salad was fresh and of a good size; gnocchi was overcooked (most surprising), and the four cheese sauce was tasty but a bit too much by the end. Secondi piatti: chicken with roasted potatoes - both were delicious and perfectly cooked, but the potatoes with fresh rosemary were particularly enjoyable. My family and I arrived there a bit before the opening time, and the waiter was very friendly offering us to sit already and some water. We ordered some appetizers that were good, but the main dishes that we ordered were phenomenal! The lasagna was very rich and filling, I would say it's one of the best I've ever had. The carbonara was also amazing, with a very crispy guancialle 😋 I also recommend the pasta with mussels and pumpkin flower, super delicious!
